The story culture defines who we are.It is
inside of everyone of us.It is hard to grasp but
everyone knows it.It determines our personali-
ty, our behavior and our values.It defines
where we feel at home. The term culture origi-
nates from the latin word culture which means
as much as caring,process and treament.Cul-
ture and traditions can only exit and develop
when they are take care of, when they are
given from one to the next generation.Taiwan
is a country with very rich and unique culture.
Recently there was a little break in the passing
of tradition.The younger generation donesn’t
remember certain thingsthat their parents will
very excited about . Especially traditional
taiwanese child games have lost appeal.

COME TO PLAY LAIWAN’s aim is make these games interest-

ing again in giving them a contemporary
design and addin unexpeted functions. Avoid

Our logo consists out of a symbol and the

type.The name has two meanings. LAIWAN
has a lot of similarities with TAIWAN. It
directly relates to the country which culture
we want to promote. Secondary the two
syllables LAI and WAN sounds like the
Chinese words for come to play. Come to
play with our reinvented games.

BRAND - COLOURS

We choose the colors black and white for unity

in Taiwanese meaning. This is a great image to
underline our message of conncection. Black is
a very neutral color ,besides white has the
meaning of brightness and harmony. Red also
has special meaningin Taiwan. It stands for
happiness, auspiciousness, celebration, luck
and good fortune.

According to the current building acts, the height of the

indoor stairs is between 15-20 cm. Through testing,
stair-climbing wheel needs to be equipped with at least 5
auxiliary wheel. The distance between the center of
auxiliary wheel to the axis center of the primary wheel
needs to be at least 15 cm. After calculation, the
diameter of the wheel should be over 42 cm.

real scale and modified into the reasonable form and
dimension.

PORTABLE ARTIFICIAL WOMB
CONCEPT

The OTBBY plan, a portable artificial

womb system was inspired by the
concept of ideal pregnancy relationship
and the issue of premature baby. The
baby will be removed at 12 weeks with
uterus operation and replanted in an
artificial womb which simulates the
condition inside the mother’s uterus. By
applying the technique of "Internet of
Things”, parents can keep track of the
baby’s movement with mobile devices
and the doctor utilize remote
monitoring. The plan will help premature
babies to grow healthily to term and
achieve ideal parental involvement in
pregnancy.

Commercially available plug sockets are mostly attached to the vacuum machine whereas
they are lack of connection with it. in terms of the overall style, few correspondence can
be found. besides, horizontal plug sockets occupy the space.
 FINAL MODEL

Combine portable vacuum cleaner with the

cylindrical charger which can store crevice tool
to make the whole structure integrated.

The main structure of vacuum cleaner features

arch curves and cylindrical shape which makes it
more subtle.the connection between these two
irrelevant objects makes the vacuum machine
competent and easier to store.
