NARRATIVE REPORT OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS


ERWIN J. CABIGAO
SY 2018 – 2019

I. STUDENT DEVELOPMENT

Student Development theory refers to the body of educational psychology


that theorizes how the students gain knowledge in post-secondary educational
environments. Learning is about risk taking. Students need to challenge with new
ideas and experience and also providing the intellectual tools and personal skills
to nurture self-awareness.
Special Program for the Arts launched few years ago to develop the skills
and special talents of students in Muzon National High School.
The following are the list of activity where the students’ involvements are
seen.
 INTRAMURALS S.Y. 2018 (July, 2018) – yearly school
activities where the students are always look forward to
become a member of year level team to showcase their
sportsmanship and skills in their specific events.
 WORLD TEACHERS DAY (OCTOBER 5, 2018) - students
are given opportunity to experienced to became teacher for
one day.
 SCIENCE ECO FASHION SHOW
 ALDUB YOU BOX (YEAR 2)

Different activities such Project All – Numerates, Window Cards for every
Grading Period and Remedial Activities were taken by students who did not meet
the expectations for every Grading Period.

II. TEACHER DEVELOPMENT

Teachers are lifelong learners. In fact, ongoing education is a requirement


for teachers of every public school, from kindergarten through college level.
Known as professional development, this education -- usually in the form of
workshops, seminars and training courses -- helps teachers stay up to date with
new trends and learn fresh strategies, techniques and methods for classroom
challenges. The overriding idea behind professional development is that
increased knowledge helps teachers improve student achievement. That's
because professional development focuses on what each teacher needs to fine-
tune his or her classroom practice.

List of Teacher Development Activities


1. World’s Teachers Day celebration held last October 5, 2018.
The teacher is awarded for the second time as Most Creative.
2. School based Intramurals S. Y. 2018. The teacher participated
as overall in – charge as curriculum chairperson.
3. Attended in the Division Writeshop on the Development of
Learning Resources in Mathematics for Junior High School last
June 29,30 and July 1, 2018.
4. Attended in the 33rd International Coastal Clean Up last
September 22, 2018.
5. Served as Resource Speaker in Marangal National High
School last October 23, 2018 with topic Authentic Learning and
Assessment.
6. Served as Resource Speaker in Partida Elementary School
last October 22, 2018 with topic Understanding Formative and
Summative Assessment Strategies.
7. Attended in the Division Secondary Mathematics Competition
last November 5, 2018 where the teacher served as coach of
Rubics Event.
8. Attended 5 Day Region – wide Training on Pedagogical
Retooling in Mathematics Language and Science (PRIMALS)
for Junior High School Teachers and School Heads in Charge
of Learning Action Cell (LAC) last November 7 – 11, 2018.
9. Attended the Division Writeshop on Finalization of Select
Modules in Mathematics for Junior High School last November
29 – 30, 2018
10. Participated in the MHS Inset 2017 last October 22 - 26, 2018
at Muzon National High School.
11. Seminar/Orientation in the Procedures in the National Career
Assessment Examination and Grade 7 National Achievement
Test.
12. Served as Curriculum Chairman for Grade 7.
13. Served as one of the chairman in School Checking
Committee.
14. Observed teachers in their COT’s.

III. COMMUNITY LINKAGES

Community Linkages are partnerships with organizations in the


surrounding community such as local government and especially the parents. It
can interconnect together many resources and strategies to enhance
communities that support schools as well as the students.
Muzon National High School strengthened the Parent – Teacher
Association (PTA) to undertake projects and activities aimed at promoting a
harmonious and enjoyable relationship among themselves.
The teacher joined in the Gift giving activity last December, 2018 called
Aldub You Box. The teacher also joined in the Bakas ng Pagmamahal Plus
where the school distributed shoes in different school in City of San Jose Del
Monte, namely: Partida Elementary School, CSJDM Science High School and
San Roque Elementary School.
IV. PHYSICAL FACILITIES

The quality of education depends on school facilities and instructional


materials. It is the process of students learning. The quality of a school’s
environment and its facilities has a strong influence on student’s learning.
As part of the yearly Brigada Eskwela, voluntary efforts of teachers,
parents, students, community members, and other organizations to do minor
repairs and clean-ups on their school in the preparation for start of the next
school year.

V. SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT

The teacher served as Curriculum Chairman of Grade 7


1. Facilitated in the conduct of NAT for Grade 7
2. Facilitated in the Quarterly Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
3. Facilitated in the Early Registration every Saturdays between
January 26 to February 22, 2019.
4. Facilitated in the School Reading of Forms
5. Facilitated in Division Reading of Forms.
6. Facilitated in the Flag raising ceremony for the month of July,
September, November, January and March.
7. Facilitated in the Recognition Day and Moving Up Ceremony
