Problem: How will ARBOCEL® reduce hunger stress ?

• Target weight in a broiler after 5 weeks is 2 kg • Insoluble fiber like ARBOCEL® makes the digesta
• Target weight in a breeder 600 g stay longer in the gizzard
• These 1.4 kg are the challenge • Swelling capacity will improve the gut fill as well

Solution:
Skip a day in pullets or restriction in laying stage.

Hunger stress as a result

ARBOCEL® will minimize the hunger stress and the

Reduce feather pecking and cannibalism

Feather pecking is a major problem in layers. Often it

leads to cannibalism and a high mortality rate.

Many dietary factors are discussed as a cause for

cannibalism. Low protein diets, low sodium intake as
well as a lack of some essential amino acids are seen
as a cause of cannibalism.
There is strong evidence that fiber deficiency is heavily
involved in feather pecking and cannibalism.
