Vision

To be a Centre of excellence in technical education for moulding competent and


ethically strong Civil Engineering Professionals.

Mission

 To impart quality education in civil Engineering by integrating theory and


practical’s in accordance with emerging technologies in the field.
 To encourage the students for pursuing higher studies.
 Extent Knowledge and expertise for the development of the community.
 To create competent professionals capable of upholding ethical values and
concept of sustainable development.
 To conduct knowledge exchange programme with various stake holders.

 To impart knowledge with emphasis on the development of leadership


qualities in students.

Programme Educational Outcomes (PEO)

 To impart proficiency in engineering knowledge and skills to analyze, design,


build, maintain, or improve civil engineering based systems.
 Attain leadership qualities in execution and management of Civil
Engineering project, upholding ethics and sustainable concepts.
 Encourage students to self-learn latest developments in Civil Engineering
practice.
 To enable them to formulate and solve real world problem by providing
strong foundation in maths, science and Engineering and to have practical
skills by providing hands on training in conducting experiments and
analysis/interpretation of data.
 Prepare the students for professional level employment in Government,
Public or Private organization and induce them a strong desire for higher
studies.
 To have awareness of professional ethics and social commitment towards
sustainable development.
 To well prepare the students for the industry with core engineering
competency, comprehensive knowledge of modern engineering tools and
good managerial skills that will enable them to have a long term engineering
/ entrepreneurship careers

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSO)

 Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science,


engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the
solution of complex engineering problems.
 Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze
complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using
first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering
sciences.
 Using cutting edge technologies: Inspiring the students and preparing
them for successful professionals through modern techniques and
resources.
 Ability to co-ordinate and communicate in group: Emphasizing the
importance of team work and to effectively communicate within a team
for desired outcome.
 Environment and sustainability: understand the impact of the
professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental
contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable
development.
 Communication: communicate effectively on complex engineering
activities with the engineering community and with society at large,
such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and
design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and
receive clear instructions.
 Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and
responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
 Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation
and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the
broadest context of technological change.
