ceraratre Rar der Tata Institute of Social Sciences 10" July, 2019 NOTICE It has been brought to the notice of the authorities that some students have been protesting in the academic block of Hyderabad Campus since 8" July, 2019. The students are demanding that a mechanism for payment of hostel and dining charges in instalments for the GOI-PMS students be put in place. The Institute responded positively and promised a resolution on a case to case basis. Now it is seen that the students have blocked the classrooms as well as the administrative office thereby preventing functioning of the Institute despite several requests and appeals by the Faculty members. The Institute, by this notice, once again calls upon the students gathered at the entrance of the Academic Block to refrain from such unlawful activities which is leading to blockade and obstruction and movement of the other students, faculty and staff. ‘Through this notice, these students are called upon to help maintain normalcy within the ‘campus and not to obstruct free movement through the main entrance and not to indulge in any act amounting to unlawful activities, thereby preventing smooth functioning of the Institute. It may be noted that if normalcy is not restored and if the instances of obstructions, stoppage of movements of persons or such illegal acts in any form or method are continued, the Institute shall have no option, but to safeguard the interest of all concerned by taking stern action against the defaulters.
