Purpose: Why the author wrote the passage (read first two lines of first paragraph, first line of each body paragraph and
first and last line of final paragraph).
NB:
i. For very quick reading and understanding, just find the Subject, Verb and Object of a sentence.
ii. The questions are generally in the same order as the information presented. So, you should jot down the highlighted key
facts (dates, numbers, terms) and information.

NB:
i. Any correct answer never includes any extreme word like: Most, already, always, never, all, none, every, everything,

ii. In case of the word, “imply, or suggest” in the purpose question, the answer approximately matches what the passage
directly states, whereas in case of the word, “imply or suggest” in the suggestion, or inference question, the answer does
not match what the passage directly states but makes a claim or connection that is found in the passage.
iii. If you don’t find the correct answer from the options given, use the process of elimination to find the correct answer.
