Project Name: HARMONIC OPTIMIZATION OF MULTI LEVEL INVERTER USING

GENETIC ALGORITHM.

In this project a genetic algorithm optimization technique is applied to determine the switch angles for a
cascaded multilevel inverter which eliminates specified higher order harmonics while maintaining the
required fundamental voltage this technique can be applied any number of level and the main advantage to
eliminate harmonics and to improve power quality.

Industrial Visit:
Kothagudem Thermal Power Station(KTPS)

Purpose to know about the power plant and how to operate it and what factors need to be considered
while operating practically.
