ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to design and to develop “TIMES UP: An Android Based Phone
Controller System” is to produce an application that will control the time of spent in gadgets and
social media, game etc. and to help teachers and parents to .. The study aims to determine the
accuracy of the study and to identify the benefits in terms of performance, information,
effectiveness, and security.

T.I.M.E.S UP designed to help people to lessen their time using gadget and to avoid them
to all the illness that they get in over using gadget. Using this application, it can help teens and
children avoid from cyber bullying, cyber-crime, and other negative effects of gadget use.

The methodology used was research and development with the used of spiral model as the
Software Engineering Development Model. Technical Feasibility study with the identification of hardware
and software requirements was used for testing and implementation phase. C# used in Visual Studio as its
programming Language.

The research used a questionnaire as a research instrument following the likert scale 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
with the descriptive interpretation of Strongly Agree, Agree, Fairly Agree, Disagree and Strongly Disagree
to assess the application entitled “AGRIMATION: A Mobile Based Information System for Pest and
Diseases of Crops in Region II”.

In gathering data, the researchers used different techniques such as library research,
internet research for thee additional information in the development of the application. The data
was gathered by floating questionnaires using purposive sampling to the thirty (30) respondents
in Alicia Vocational School at M.H. Del Pilar Alicia Isabela. The research used a questionnaire
as a research instrument following the linker scale 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 with the descriptive interpretation
of Strongly Agree, Agree, Fairly Agree, Disagree and Strongly Disagree to assess the application
