Workbook in General Biology 1

This workbook gives a comprehensive introduction of the essential concepts and principles
of biological molecules and energy transformation. It place the study of biology in a meaningful,
interdisciplinary context in which students can see the role biology plays in everyday life bot in
and out of the classroom. The central core of the workbook revolves around understanding
biological molecules and energy transformation. For a more effective student centered learning,
concepts presented in each chapter are gradually introduced in a concise and student- friendly,
relationship between plant, animal and human characteristics. Students are motivated to read and
think critically as they build biology content knowledge.
