polynomials, rational algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities in
two variables, systems of linear equations and inequalities in two variables and
linear functions, and solve these problems accurately using a variety of strategies.

Recall how to simplify rational algebraic expressions.
Ask the students to interpret the quotation:
“When a GOOD thing happens to a GOOD person that is GOOD.”

“When a BAD thing happens to a BAD person that is GOOD.”

Group the class into 6. Give them set of fractions. Let them identify the
fractions if those are similar or dissimilar fractions. Every correct answer
will be given 2 points.

Identify the difference of solving similar and dissimilar rational algebraic
expressions.

The teacher will give set of problems and will flash it on the screen. The
 first group who will first raise the flag will be the one to answer the
question. Each member of the winning team will get 5 bonus points in the
