CardioVascular and Interventional Radiology (CVIR) is published by Springer Science+Business Media

LLC and is the official journal of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe,
the Japanese Society of Angiography and Interventional Radiology, and the British Society of
Interventional Radiology. CVIR publishes peer-reviewed original research work including laboratory and
clinical investigations, technical notes, case reports, brief communications, and letters to the editor, as
well as review articles, opinions, editorials, and special invited submissions in the field of cardiac,
vascular, and interventional radiology. Articles that are accepted for publication are done so with the
understanding that they, or their substantive contents, have not been and will not be submitted to any
other publication.

(http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cvr). All submissions are received, reviewed and decided upon through Production

All original submissions will be BLIND-reviewed. Therefore, please exclude all author and affiliation
information from the body text of your manuscript when it is submitted for review.

Your Title Page, with all identifying Author, Affiliation and contact information, should be
uploaded in the “File Upload” section of Manuscript Central under the category, "Title Page." This page
will not be viewable to reviewers.

Authors should then upload the BLINDED manuscript in the “File Upload” section of
Manuscript Central. The BLINDED manuscript should include all required sections of the text, tables and
legends in one Word or Text document, and should be uploaded along with any separate figures.

After your manuscript is submitted, the Editors will inspect the submission online before
assigning reviewers. If any part of the manuscript is not complete, the manuscript will be unsubmitted,
with an e-mail notification sent to the author indicating the need for additional information and/or
