Mission of the TEAM:

The TEAM’s mission is to build community through cycling to promote the benefits
of the bicycle!
The team will partner with local and national advocacy groups to help raise public
awareness and to promote the bicycle as a viable, healthy, and sustainable
transportation choice.

Who is the TEAM?

The TEAM is an all inclusive community of cyclists who share a strong belief in
Team’s mission.
The team will work toward a common goal to grow the sport of bicycle racing,
recreational cycling and transportation bicycling while we also support each other
as we each strive to reach our personal fitness goals. The team currently includes
all levels of athletes from recreational to top junior talent led by respected athletes
in the sport.
-The TEAM has won the SoCalCross Best Team Award for the past two seasons
2007, 2008.
-The TEAM athletes have won numerous championships and been a part of USA’s
Cyclocross Junior National Teams in Europe.
-The TEAM has steadily increased its membership from 4 to 36 to 200+ in just two
seasons.

Mission of The TEAM:

the bicycle! The team will partner with bicycle, women, youth and health advocacy to help raise public
awareness of our partners and to promote the bicycle as a viable, healthy and sustainable choice.

respected athletes in the sport.

Sponsorship Rider Agreement

1. Athlete will promote the TEAM through word of mouth and appropriate conduct at all times.
2. Athlete will wear appropriate TEAM Kit during all cyclocross events.
3. Athlete will be responsible for maintaining a clean bike and uniform at all times.
4. Rider will be responsible for submitting results to Dot @ SoCalCross.org after each race.
5. Riders are encouraged to submit photographs in digital format or regular print form.

LEGAL STUFF:
In consideration of being permitted to compete for The TEAM, I agree to the following:
1. I acknowledge and am fully aware of the hazards and dangers in bicycle racing. I hereby assume all
risks involved in the participation in this sport.
2. I acknowledge that The TEAM, its employees and agents have no control or involvement in the
planning, organizing or managing of the events I enter.
3. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify The TEAM, its parent, officers, directors, agents and
representatives from all personal injuries, including death, and/or damage caused by my participation
in this sport.
4. The TEAM and any person authorized by them may use my name, likeness, accomplishments,
photographs, image and statements in any manner for the purpose of promoting The TEAM, its
sponsors products, and advocacy partners.
5. This agreement binds me, my heirs, legatees, personal representatives, and all those claiming
through me. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
