My aim is to live and to practice
democracy myself. As a teacher and a
leader in our school, I would like to see
my subordinates and my students living

 It is the cornerstone of democracy. It is linked to being humans. A person is

fundamentally someone who has respect for the dignity of others.
 They have the inherent ability to synthesise the rights of others

 In a school, the right to dignity together with the
right
 to privacy should also be considered also on
learners.
 A child is a child and therefore has feelings and
 emotions e.g. humiliating a learner avoided and
 conducting a search on a child should be done correctly.
 Correct procedures must be followed and valid reasons
 be explained and be based on reasonable doubts.
 It is also at school where learners learn to respect
 and to tolerate different cultures, races, ages and
 colours, and avoid xenophobia.
