Description of Text

I have chosen to analyse this documentary because it is to do with

sports, even though the angle is not related to my idea.
The topic of this documentary is about how the media has turned
their attention from common sport such as football and basket ball
to extreme sport such as stake boarding and BMX riding. The angle
of this documentary is focusing on the positive side of extreme
sports. The location of this documentary is in a skate park, this is
where most extreme sport activities take place. This documentary
could be seen as biased because it is focused towards one interest
which is either sport or extreme sport. In this documentary there is
a detailed interview with a 17 year old male, this relates to the target
audience because they are more likely to be to watch the
documentary if there is similar aged people present.

Potential Audience for Text

The potential audience for this documentary are mainly males, but
could also be females aged from 16-25.
In terms of ethnicity this documentary could be aimed towards all
ethnicities but I think it aims more towards white people; this is
because these are the people who are mostly interested in this type
of sport. The interests of the potential audience of this documentary
would be that they have a general interest for sport and are or
interested in extreme sport activities. The location of this audience
would be mainly in cities and towns, where there are places
available for them to take part in extreme sports. The socio-
economic class of this audience would be the whole group, so from
A-E.
