Achievements
Organized the first bi‐annual NWS storm spotter training sessions to help educate the community about local
weather and increase viewer participation from which the "KOHD Storm Spotter" group was born and
generously helped increase forecast reliability in rural parts of the DMA.
Designed and implemented "KOHD Flashback,” a daily look at local history, to replace failing news segment.
Integrated Facebook and Twitter with KOHD News as new form of positive community involvement.
Increase of “Daybreak” viewership by 133% in November 2008 and 100% in March 2009 sweeps period.
