Title: Using Glogster in the Classroom

Designer: Emily Mullis
Audience: Middle School Teachers

Unit Summary
I designed this lesson to show teachers how to use Glogster in their classrooms. I feel that if
teachers know what tools are available to them and are comfortable with their knowledge of
them, they will be more likely to try them in their classrooms. I think Glogster could greatly
enhance lessons that teachers have already developed for use in their classrooms.

Learner Analysis
The staff development lesson was delivered to middle school teachers from all content areas at
Bleckley County Middle School. Most of the teachers are comfortable using technology but
none are familiar with Glogster. Many teachers at BCMS have Smartboards in their classrooms.
