The Pepsi Ayos Pinas! Bottle School Project will be held on November 26, 2010 Friday at San Pablo, Laguna.

I. Travel Details - A bus will bring all volunteers to the Bottle Build site in San Pablo, Laguna. We suggest that you do not bring a car to the Pickup point. There is no parking space available.

i. Venue: Petron Gas Station in Makati Avenue corner Buendia (Gil Puyat Avenue)
ii. Date and Time: 4:30 AM Friday, November 26

1. If you are commuting and coming from the Manila, you can ride a bus/jeep going to Buendia-Bel Air-Guadalupe and get off at the Petron station in Makati Ave. corner Buendia
2. If you are commuting and coming from the North, you can ride the bus going to Baclaran via EDSA and get off at Buendia. Take a cab or a jeep behind the Shell station going to
Washington and get off at Petron Station.
3. If you are commuting and coming from the South, you can ride a bus going to EDSA and get off at the Buendia MRT station. Cross the station towards Makati, take the cab or a
jeep behind the Shell station going to Washington and get off at Petron Station.
4. For those who live near Laguna, pickup point is at Total Gas station beside SM City San Pablo in San Pablo City at 7:00 AM. Kindly inform us on or before November 23
Tuesday if the bus will pick you up there.

b. Transportation – Pepsi will only provide the transportation from the Pickup point going to the Build site in San Pablo and going back to Makati.

c. Itinerary/Schedule of Events

d. Meals – Food and drinks will be provided by Pepsi. This covers breakfast, lunch and snacks.

e. Insurance – All participants who were able to give their complete beneficiary details are covered with travel insurance. Make sure you have submitted the name, your relation and birthday of your
beneficiary to the Pepsi team. If you haven’t done so, kindly email the details to admin@sarapmagbago.com on or before November 24, Wednesday.

II. House Rules/Guidelines

a. Waiver – All volunteers are required to sign the waiver at the registration area before riding the bus.

b. Photo/video rights - Pepsi reserves the right to use quotes, photos and videos of participants taken during the event for Advertising/PR purposes.

c. Changes in Schedule – Pepsi reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to circumstances beyond control such as but not limited to, bad traffic conditions (thereby causing delay in the schedule),
weather conditions, force majeure, acts of God. In the event that an activity is cancelled or postponed, Pepsi will make every effort to notify the volunteers and Pepsi will not be held liable for any
damages at any cost.

d. Companions/Marshals – Volunteers are not allowed to bring a companion. There are marshals that will guide the volunteers all throughout the event.

e. Venue rules
i. All volunteers are expected to follow the house rules.
ii. Volunteers are required to stay at the designated area only. They are not allowed to go to the club house.
iii. Portalets and changing rooms are provided in the venue.

III. Important Reminders

a. Things to Wear during the Build


i. Long sleeves shirt (light material) beneath a short- sleeved shirt
ii. Denim pants is recommended
iii. Rubber shoes
iv. Hard hats and hand gloves will be provided by Pepsi and should be worn at all times during the Building activity.

b. Things to Bring
i. Valid ID with photo
ii. Printed copy of the confirmation email and/or the SMS confirmation
iii. Extra clothes, towels, hat/cap
iv. Toiletries (sunscreen/sun block, powder, alcohol, shampoo, soap, wet wipes, tissue, etc.)
v. Pocket money for emergency purposes. There is no fee required in the Cleanup.
vi. Copy of the Volunteer Guide
vii. Camera, extra camera batteries and storage. The participants are responsible for any damage or loss.

c. Things NOT to bring


i. Big bags, let’s all pack light.
ii. Bulky items.
iii. Dangerous materials/poisonous substances
iv. Alcoholic beverage
v. Valuables like jewelry

d. Additional Tips
i. Weather – Humid but can be rainy or shiny
ii. Essentials
1. Wear rubber shoes, boots or any footwear with slip-resistant and puncture-resistant soles that is comfortable for construction during the actual building.
2. Shades and/or hats/caps for sun protection. Expect to be under the sun. Wear lots of sunscreen too.
3. Zip lock your gadgets and other valuable materials to keep water, sand, cement and dirt away while building the school.
iii. Health – Remember to drink lots of liquid during the event. There are drinking stations and a first aid station provided in the Building site.
iv. Communication – The stores where you can buy e-loads or prepaid cards are far from the venue. Better load up your mobile phones before departure. Make sure it’s fully charged as well.

IV. Emergency Situations


a. In the event of sudden and emergency scenarios beyond control, Pepsi reserves the right to forego the trip.

b. Emergency scenarios may include, but are not limited to:


i. Bomb threats/bombing
ii. Natural calamity disaster/extreme weather conditions (hurricane)
iii. Other situations which pose a threat to the safety of participants

c. What to do if
i. What if I get lost?
1. If you get separated from the group, try to relax and don’t panic.
2. You may call or text the Pepsi hotline at 0935-2191038.

ii. Can I forego joining the activities?


All the participants are encouraged to join the scheduled Building activities.

iii. What if I get sick during the trip?


The volunteer participant will be asked to stay in the main area and rest. If the situation starts to worsen, the participant will be sent to the hospital accompanied by a Pepsi representative.
The nearest hospital is located right beside the Building site in San Pablo.

V. FAQs
a. Can I bring a friend?
Unfortunately no, you can’t bring a friend to the Bottle School Build.

b. Do we need to pay a fee?


No, there is no fee required in joining the Bottle School Build.

c. Can we take photos?


Sure, you can take photos and even videos during the Bottle School Build.

d. Do we have to bring a car?


No need to bring a car. Transportation is provided from the Pickup point to the Bottle School Build venue.

e. My friend is not joining the November 26 Bottle School Build, can someone else take her/his place?
Sorry, there is a back up list already to replace for those who can’t join the Bottle School Build.
