Sew the 8 strips into 1 strip set.
Do not press as you sew.
Arrange 8 strips in a pleasing order.
Repeat with second set of
TIP: The 2 outside strips will be barely seen when the

Choose your 2 favorite strips and set aside for ruffles.
Cut the remaining strips in half at the fold to make 2 sets. 5 6

Place strip sets right sides together – aligning seams.
Cut into 14-1½" segment pairs.
Total 28 segments.
Press each strip set in the opposite direction.

Ruffle strip by hand or machine.
Use end of
ballpoint pen Pin and arrange ruffle around top of stocking.
(point retracted) One half of ruffle should stand above top of stocking.

together align edge of sewn strip and Hang with ribbon or metallic cord.
Measure around top edge of stocking. top of stocking. Stitch around top
Add ½” to that measurement. Then cut using a ¼” seam. Turn binding strip
