How To Become a Muslim ?

Convert to Islam
It always brings Muslims great joy when we hear of anyone wishing to convert to Islam.
Muslims want to rush to tell their friends and family about this wonderful news. Muslims always
love to hear how others converted to Islam. So for sure you will be greatly welcomed to Islam.

Step 1Syahadat
So to be a Muslim is Easy, Say: " I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and I bear
witness that Mohammad is Allah's Messenger ( "Ashhadu an laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wa
ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasool-Allaah" or "ašhadu 'al-la ilaha illa-llahu wa 'ašhadu 'anna
muhammadan rasulu-llah" ~in arabic~ ) "

( " In the name of Allah, The All-Compassionate and The All-Merciful " ~in arabic~ )

So, you are now a Muslim by saying.

Step 2Now to be a Muslim in your heart
There are six articles of faith (iman) :
1) One God (Allah)
2) The angels of God
3) The books of God (Taurat, Zabur, Injil, Quran)
4) The prophets of God (Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Dawud, Musa, Harun, Ya'qub,
Yusuf, Yunus, 'Isa, Muhammad, etc)
5) The Day of Judgment (or the afterlife) (qiyamat)
6) The supremacy of God's will (or predestination).

The five Pillars of Islam :

1) Faith or belief in the Oneness of God and the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad;
2) Establishment of the daily prayers (shalat)
3) Concern for and almsgiving to the needy (zakat)
4) Self-purification through fasting (shaum ramadhan)
5) The pilgrimage to Makkah for those who are able (hajj).

This is the Muslim, be good and forgive the others.

The new Muslims are considering like they was born again without any sins.

Salam my brothers and sisters ... (salam means peace/welfare)

Tips
You would find some problems during practicing Islam and communicating in the community of
Islam, but you must know the difference between the religion of Islam and the community of
Islam, so the problem is also different. The religion of Islam must be (still) genuine and
authentic based on Al-Quran (book of God) and al-Hadist (advice from Prophet), and the
community of Islam must follow and defend that genuine.

So you must still becareful about false knowledge and keep astray.

You can being just a usual muslim, but practicing Islam in the top form. Open your eyes and
ears, think with your brain and feel with your heart, but stop your ego, and let it flows (body
and soul).

About prayer, you may ask a Muslim that you know to guide you with the movement and
pronunciation.
 The community of Islam is not reached the peak yet. I mean, there's so many things that we
don't build yet in this earth. Islam is not awkward, as long as it's not be in contradiction with Al-
Quran and al-Hadist then you can do it. But do not make any new innovation of ibadah (bid'ah),
it is clearly in the Quran and Hadist about ibadah (prayer). Yeah maybe a lil bit different version
but still the same is ok. So if it still the same and then the uniformity in the community of Islam
is amazing.

Warnings
 Do not pray to other else except Allah (as we worshipped Allah).

 Do not leave Al-Quran and al-Hadith (as we believe the genuine of Al-Quran).

 Do not follow false knowledge (as we learns from the right teacher/ulama/syaikh).

 Do not leave the community of Islam (as we brothers and sisters in the name of Allah).

 Do not follow any sect (as we follows Prophet Muhammad).

 Do not blame each other in the community of Islam (as we one united).

 Do not mock other religion (as we don't want to mock anyone/everyone).

 Do not leave your heart and brain (as we thanks and used all of The God gave to us).

 Do not arrogant/conceited (as a good pray is which can make you have good deeds/morals).

 Do not being trapped to false road (as we walk in the way of Allah).

 Do not ever give up for mercy from The Lord (as Allah Al-Ghafur is the most forgiver).

 Do not leave the peaceful things (as Allah As-Salam is the source of peace).
