Planned Service Agreement

________________________________ and Quarter Moon Plumbing, Inc, dba

Quarter Moon Air Conditioning & Heating agree to enter into a planned service
agreement to cover the air conditioning system installed at _______________________
_______________________. The heating, ventilation and air conditioning system
requires preventative maintenance as follows:

• Air filters will be replaced (_)

o A restricted air filter can cause your air conditioning unit to waste energy
and shortens the compressor life.
• Inspect for refrigerant leaks and check Freon levels.
o A low or high refrigerant charge can increase operating costs and can
cause compressor malfunction
• Check and clean condenser coil.
o Dirty condenser coils raise refrigerant pressure, increasing your electric
bill and could lead to early compressor failure
• Adjust all belts and replace when needed.
• Check and clean condensate drains when necessary.
o Algae can plug a condensate drain which can cause expensive water
damage.
• Check controls and safety devices.
o Controls and safety devices that do not function properly can increase
operation costs and cause other components to fail.
• Thermostats will be checked for proper operation.
o Improperly calibrated thermostats allow the unit to run longer than
necessary.
• Check voltage and amperage.
• Check compressor oil.
o Improper lubrication can lead to early failure of the compressor.
• Lubricate all other necessary parts.
• We will provide instruction in the proper operation of the equipment that is the
most cost effective.

 This agreement excludes any coverage for environmental conditions, such

as mold. Quarter Moon has not inspected for mold and has not indicated
the existence or non-existence of mold on the above-described location.
 Quarter Moon will not make any guarantee that any of the material and
labor provided will prevent such environmental conditions.

This agreement covers the following:

This agreement can be terminated by either party upon a 30-day written notice.

We appreciate the opportunity to propose the above work. For any other service on your
system, please call 210.651.5899. For emergencies, we have staff available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week.
