She said she is happy which shows

her and the nurse. Her smile
connotes a merry disposition
which is a sign that she is willing
to socialize.
Maslow͛s hierarchy of needs
(physiologic need) one of the
needs of the patient is the food
that they eat. As what the patient
has responded, she knows that
food is essential for us to live. This
thought implies that the patient is
aware of what she eats and
realizes the role of this in the
body.
(Orientation Phase) in this phase,
as the nurse have her initial
interaction with the patient, the
nurse tries to build rapport with
the patient. Through this that the
nurse will be able to establish
boundaries of relationships and
also to identify the expectations.
If the nurse will be able to build
rapport, then he/she can assess
well and give the appropriate
nursing care to them.
The nurse wants to know the
interest of the patient to let the
client feel her importance and
that the nurse will be able to
render effective care and will gain
the cooperation of the patient
during the working phase.
