The Twilight Zone Portfolio

Task Description
You are to individually create a research portfolio in preparation for making a 3-5 minute Twilight
Zone chase sequence. Your dossier must be divided into 2 sections:
1) An annotated script;
2) Storyboards – This includes a shot list, a set of storyboards and overhead diagrams for the entire
film.
You will then be required to pitch your idea to the class, who will vote for which projects to be
realized.
Criterion A : Knowledge and Understanding (Maximum 8)
Students are expected to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of the concepts studied in class. Assessment will be based
on how well their portfolio demonstrates:
- Knowledge and understanding of how to write a script using appropriate screenwriting conventions and
formatting;
- Knowledge and understanding of how to create a shot list;
- Knowledge and understanding of how to create a storyboard;
- Knowledge and understanding of how to create an overhead diagram;
- Knowledge and understanding of the themes and characteristics of the twilight zone;
- Clear and appropriate presentation of the portfolio.
- Clear and convincing pitch for the idea.
- Knowledge and understanding of subject specific terminlogy.
