Removing the Chassis Assembly from the Case Assembly exposes the operator to electrical hazards that

USE RECOMMENDED FUSES ONLY


Use only fuses specifically recommended for the equipment at the specified current and voltage ratings.

This unit contains a Sealed-Lead Battery, serviceable only by a qualified technician.

3.6 COUNTER OPERATION

3.7 BATTERY PARAMETERS
The battery permits completely portable ramp
operation for up to two hours.
In battery operation, an automatic timer turns
the Test Set OFF after 6 to 10 minutes. The
T e st S e t c a n b e r e c y c l e d b y p r e s s i n g t h e
PWR/BAT Switch to the BAT position.
With the MONITOR METER FUNCTION switch
in the BAT position, the MONITOR meter 0 to
30% scale displays battery voltage. Normal
b a t t e r y ch a r g e d co n d i t i o n i s i n d i c a t e d a s ≥ 1 5 V
or greater. Battery voltage <12.5 V indicates a
d i sch a r g e d b a t t e r y . A n a u t o m a t i c l o w v o l t a g e
cu t o f f c i r c u i t t u r n s t h e T e s t S e t O F F w h e n t h e
battery voltage drops under 12.5 V.
NOTE: If the Test Set is used only for bench
