Peace, Love & the IKCs fondly recalls the outta sight times of the
IKCs (nickname for the Irene Kaufmann Center, the predecessor to
the JCC) from the late 1960s to the early 1970s.
This shindig will be the grooviest scene ever, with a DJ spinning
tunes, far-out food, mellow coffee house, and a (shhhh…) silent
auction. Music lovers can get down at a late-night Woodstock-style
jam band concert.
Big Night raises a large portion of the JCC’s Annual Fund for
scholarships and to support critical programming such as child and
after-school care, special needs and older adult programs.
Corporate and individual sponsorships for Big Night, as well as the
goodwill produced by the event, are vital to year-round support.
