Surah Yusuf verse 43

ٍ َ‫ان َيأْ ُكلُهُنَّ َس ْب ٌع عِ َجافٌ َو َسب َْع ُس ْن ُبال‬

‫ت‬ ٍ ‫ت سِ َم‬ ٍ ‫ك إِ ِّني أَ َرى َسب َْع َب َق َرا‬ ُ ِ‫َو َقا َل ْال َمل‬
َ ‫ت َياأَ ُّي َها ْال َمأَل ُ أَ ْف ُتونِي فِي ر ُْؤ َي‬
َ ‫اي إِنْ ُكن ُت ْم لِلرُّ ْؤ َيا َتعْ ُبر‬
‫ُون‬ ٍ ‫ُخضْ ٍر َوأ ُ َخ َر َي ِاب َسا‬

And the King said, ‘I see in a dream seven fat kine which seven lean ones eat up, and seven
green ears of corn and seven others withered. O ye chiefs, explain to me the meaning of my
dream if you can interpret a dream.’

2. Surah An-Nahl verse 8

َ ‫ِير لِ َترْ َكبُو َها َو ِزي َن ًة َو َي ْخلُ ُق َما الَ َتعْ َلم‬
‫ُون‬ َ ‫َو ْال َخ ْي َل َو ْال ِب َغا َل َو ْال َحم‬

[16:9] And He has created horses and mules and asses that you may ride them, and as a source
of beauty. And He will create what you do not yet know

3. Surah An-Nahl verse 14

‫َوه َُو الَّذِي َس َّخ َر ْال َبحْ َر لِ َتأْ ُكلُوا ِم ْن ُه َلحْ مًا َط ِر ًّيا َو َتسْ َت ْخ ِرجُوا ِم ْن ُه ح ِْل َي ًة َت ْل َبسُو َن َها‬
َ ‫ك َم َواخ َِر فِي ِه َولِ َت ْب َت ُغوا ِمنْ َفضْ لِ ِه َو َل َعلَّ ُك ْم َت ْش ُكر‬
‫ُون‬ َ ‫َو َت َرى ْالفُ ْل‬

[16:15] And He it is Who has subjected to you the sea that you may eat therefrom fresh flesh,
and may take forth therefrom ornaments which you wear. And thou seest the ships ploughing
through it, that you may thereby journey and that you may seek of His bounty and that you may
be grateful

4. Surah An-Nahl verse 5

َ ُ‫َواألَ ْن َعا َم َخ َل َق َها َل ُك ْم فِي َها ِدفْ ٌء َو َم َنا ِف ُع َو ِم ْن َها َتأْ ُكل‬
‫ون‬
[16:6] And the cattle too He has created; you find in them warmth and other uses; and some of
them you eat
5. Surah An-Nahl verse 6

َ ‫ِين َتسْ َرح‬

‫ُون‬ َ ‫ِين ُت ِريح‬
َ ‫ُون َوح‬ َ ‫َو َل ُك ْم فِي َها َج َما ٌل ح‬
[16:7] And in them there is beauty for you when you bring them home in the evening, and
when you drive them forth to pasture in the morning

6. Surah An-Nahl Verse 68

‫ون‬
َ ‫ش‬ ِ ‫ُّك إِ َلى ال َّنحْ ِل أَ ِن ا َّت ِخذِي ِمنْ ْال ِج َب‬
ُ ‫ال ُبيُو ًتا َو ِمنْ ال َّش َج ِر َو ِممَّا َيعْ ِر‬ َ ‫َوأَ ْو َحى َرب‬
[16:69] And thy Lord has inspired the bee, saying, ‘Make thou houses in the hills and in the
trees and in the trellises which they build

7. Surah An-Nahl verse 69

ٌ‫ُطو ِن َها َش َراب‬ ُ ‫ت َفاسْ لُكِي ُس ُب َل َر ِّبكِ ُذلُالً َي ْخ ُر ُج ِمنْ ب‬ َّ ‫ُث َّم ُكلِي ِمنْ ُك ِّل‬
ِ ‫الث َم َرا‬
ِ ‫م ُْخ َتلِفٌ أَ ْل َوا ُن ُه فِي ِه شِ َفا ٌء لِل َّن‬
َ ‫اس إِنَّ فِي َذل َِك آَل َي ًة لِ َق ْو ٍم َي َت َف َّكر‬
‫ُون‬
[16:70] ‘Then eat of every kind of fruit, and follow the ways of thy Lord that have been made
easy for thee.’ There comes forth from their bellies a drink of varying hues. Therein is cure for
men. Surely, in that is a Sign for a people who reflect

8. Surah An-Nahl verse 79

‫ت فِي َجوِّ ال َّس َما ِء َما يُمْ سِ ُكهُنَّ إِالَّ هَّللا ُ إِنَّ فِي َذل َِك‬ َّ ‫أَ َل ْم َي َر ْوا إِ َلى‬
ٍ ‫الطي ِْر م َُس َّخ َرا‬
َ ‫ت لِ َق ْو ٍم ي ُْؤ ِم ُن‬
‫ون‬ ٍ ‫آليا‬
[16:80] Do they not see the birds held under subjection in the vault of heaven? None keeps
them back save Allah. Verily, in that are Signs for a people who believe.
9. Surah An-Nahl verse 80

‫َوهَّللا ُ َج َع َل َل ُك ْم ِمنْ ُبيُو ِت ُك ْم َس َك ًنا َو َج َع َل َل ُك ْم ِمنْ ُجلُو ِد األَ ْن َع ِام ُبيُو ًتا َتسْ َت ِخ ُّفو َن َها‬
‫ار َها أَ َث ًاثا َو َم َتاعًا إِ َلى‬ َ
ِ ‫ار َها َوأ ْش َع‬
َ َ
ِ ‫َي ْو َم َظعْ ِن ُك ْم َو َي ْو َم إِ َقا َم ِت ُك ْم َو ِمنْ أصْ َوا ِف َها َوأ ْو َب‬
‫ِين‬
ٍ ‫ح‬
[16:81] And Allah has made your homes, a place of rest for you and has made for you, of the
skins of cattle, abodes which you find light at the time when you travel and at the time when
you halt; and of their wool, and their furs, and their hair, He has supplied you with household
goods and articles of use for a time.

10. Surah An-Nahl verse 115

ُ ْ‫إِ َّن َما َحرَّ َم َع َل ْي ُك ُم ْال َم ْي َت َة َوال َّد َم َو َلحْ َم ْال ِخ ْنزير َو َما أ ُ ِه َّل ل َِغيْر هَّللا ِ ِب ِه َف َمنْ اض‬
َّ‫طر‬ ِ ِ ِ
‫اغ َوالَ َعا ٍد َفإِنَّ هَّللا َ َغفُو ٌر َرحِي ٌم‬ ٍ ‫َغي َْر َب‬
[16:116] He has made unlawful for you only that which dies of itself and blood and the flesh of
swine and that on which the name of any other than Allah has been invoked. But he who is
driven by necessity, being neither disobedient nor exceeding the limit, then surely, Allah is
Most Forgiving, Merciful

11. Surah Al-Kahfi verse 61

‫َف َلمَّا َب َل َغا َمجْ َم َع َب ْين ِِه َما َنسِ َيا حُو َت ُه َما َفا َّت َخ َذ َس ِبي َل ُه فِي ْال َبحْ ِر َس َربًا‬

[18:62] But when they reached the place where the two seas met, they forgot their fish, and it
made its way into the sea going away swiftly.

12. Surah Al-Kahfi verse 63

َ ‫ُوت َو َما أَ ْن َسانِي ُه إِالَّ ال َّشي‬

ُ‫ْطان‬ َ ‫يت ْالح‬ ُ ِ‫ْت إِ ْذ أَ َو ْي َنا إِ َلى الص َّْخ َر ِة َفإِ ِّني َنس‬
َ ‫َقا َل أَ َرأَي‬
‫أَنْ أَ ْذ ُك َرهُ َوا َّت َخ َذ َس ِبي َل ُه فِي ْال َبحْ ِر َع َجبًا‬
[18:64] He replied, ‘Didst thou see, when we betook ourselves to the rock for rest, and I forgot
the fish — and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it to thee — it took its way into
the sea in a marvellous manner?’

13. Surah Taha verse 18

‫آربُ أ ُ ْخ َرى‬ َ ُ َ َ ‫ص‬

ِ ‫اي أ َت َو َّكأ َع َل ْي َها َوأهُشُّ ِب َها َع َلى َغ َنمِي َول َِي فِي َها َم‬ َ ‫َقا َل ه‬
َ ‫ِي َع‬
[20:19] He replied, ‘This is my rod, I lean on it, and beat down therewith leaves for my sheep,
and I have also other uses for it.’

14. Surah Taha verse 20

َ ‫َفأ َ ْل َقا َها َفإِ َذا ه‬

‫ِي َحي ٌَّة َتسْ َعى‬
[20:21] So he cast it down, and behold! it was a serpent running

15. Surah Taha verse 54

‫ت ِألَ ْولِي ال ُّن َهى‬

ٍ ‫ُكلُوا َوارْ َع ْوا أَ ْن َعا َم ُك ْم إِنَّ فِي َذل َِك آليا‬
[20:55] Eat ye and pasture your cattle. Verily, in this are Signs for those who are endued with
reason.

16. Surah Taha verse 89-91

َ ‫َفأ َ ْخ َر َج َل ُه ْم عِ جْ الً َج َس ًدا َل ُه ُخ َوا ٌر َف َقالُوا َه َذا إِ َل ُه ُك ْم َوإِ َل ُه م‬

‫ُوسى َف َنسِ َي‬
[20:89] Then he produced for them a calf — an image producing a lowing sound. And they said,
‘This is your God, and the God of Moses[1843].’ So he gave up the religion of Moses.

‫ض ًّرا َوالَ َن ْفعًا‬ ُ ِ‫أَ َفالَ َي َر ْو َن أَالَّ َيرْ ِج ُع إِ َلي ِْه ْم َق ْوالً َوالَ َيمْ ل‬
َ ‫ك َل ُه ْم‬
[20:90] Could they not see that it returned to them no answer[1844], and had no power to do
them either harm or good?
 ‫َو َل َق ْد َقا َل َل ُه ْم َهارُونُ ِمنْ َق ْب ُل َيا َق ْو ِم إِ َّن َما فُتِن ُت ْم ِب ِه َوإِنَّ َر َّب ُك ْم الرَّ حْ َمنُ َفا َّت ِبعُونِي‬
‫َوأَطِ يعُوا أَمْ ِري‬
[20:91] And Aaron had said to them before this, ‘O my people, you have only been tried by
means of it (the calf). And surely, the Gracious God is your Lord; so follow me and obey my
command.

17. Surah Al-Anbiya’ verse 78

ْ ‫ث إِ ْذ َن َف َش‬
‫ت فِي ِه َغ َن ُم ْال َق ْو ِم َو ُك َّنا لِح ُْكم ِِه ْم‬ ِ ‫ان إِ ْذ َيحْ ُك َم‬
ِ ْ‫ان فِي ْال َحر‬ َ ‫َودَاوُ ودَ َو ُس َل ْي َم‬
َ ‫َشا ِهد‬
‫ِين‬
[21:79] And remember David and Solomon when they exercised their respective judgements
concerning the crop[1905] when the sheep of certain people strayed therein by night; and We
were witness to their judgment.

18. Surah Al-Anbiya’ verse 79

‫ان َو ُكالًّ آ َت ْي َنا ح ُْكمًا َوعِ ْلمًا َو َس َّخرْ َنا َم َع دَاوُ ودَ ْال ِج َبا َل ي َُسبِّحْ َن‬
َ ‫َف َفهَّمْ َنا َها ُس َل ْي َم‬
َ ‫الطي َْر َو ُك َّنا َفاعِ ل‬
‫ِين‬ َّ ‫َو‬
[21:80] We gave Solomon the right understanding[1906] of the matter and to each of them
gave We wisdom and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains and the birds to celebrate
God’s praises with David[1907]. And it is We Who do all such things.

19. Surah Al-Hajj verse 18

‫ض َوال َّشمْسُ َو ْال َق َم ُر‬ ِ ْ‫ت َو َمنْ فِي األَر‬ ِ ‫أَ َل ْم َت َرى أَنَّ هَّللا َ َيسْ ُج ُد َل ُه َمنْ فِي ال َّس َم َاوا‬
ُ‫اس َو َكثِي ٌر َح َّق َع َل ْي ِه ْال َع َذاب‬ ِ ‫َوال ُّنجُو ُم َو ْال ِج َبا ُل َوال َّش َج ُر َوال َّد َوابُّ َو َكثِي ٌر ِمنْ ال َّن‬
‫َو َمنْ ي ُِهنْ هَّللا ُ َف َما َل ُه ِمنْ م ُْك ِر ٍم إِنَّ هَّللا َ َي ْف َع ُل َما َي َشا ُء‬
[22:19] Hast thou not seen that to Allah submits whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is
in the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and
the beasts, and many of mankind[1940]? But there are many who become deserving of
punishment. And whomsoever Allah disgraces, none can raise him to honour. Verily, Allah does
what He pleases.
20. Surah Al-Hajj verse 28

ٍ ‫َّام َمعْ لُو َما‬ َ ‫هَّللا‬ ْ

‫ت َع َلى َما َر َز َق ُه ْم ِمنْ َب ِهي َم ِة‬ ٍ ‫لِ َي ْش َه ُدوا َم َناف َِع َل ُه ْم َو َيذ ُكرُوا اسْ َم ِ فِي أي‬
َ ‫ِس ْال َفق‬
‫ِير‬ َ ‫األَ ْن َع ِام َف ُكلُوا ِم ْن َها َوأَ ْط ِعمُوا ْال َبائ‬

[22:29] ‘That they may witness its benefits[1947] for them and may mention the name of Allah,
during the appointed days, over the quadrupeds of the class of cattle that He has provided for
them. Then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed, the needy.

21. Surah Al-Hajj verse 30

ْ َّ‫ت هَّللا ِ َفه َُو َخ ْي ٌر َل ُه عِ ْندَ َر ِّب ِه َوأ ُ ِحل‬

‫ت َل ُك ْم األَ ْن َعا ُم إِالَّ َما‬ ِ ‫َذل َِك َو َمنْ ي َُع ِّظ ْم ُح ُر َما‬
َ
‫ور‬
ِ ‫الز‬ُّ ‫ان َواجْ َت ِنبُوا َق ْو َل‬ ِ ‫س ِمنْ األ ْو َث‬ َ ْ‫ُي ْت َلى َع َل ْي ُك ْم َفاجْ َت ِنبُوا الرِّ ج‬

[22:31] That is God’s commandment. And whoso honours the sacred things of Allah, it will be
good for him with his Lord. And cattle are made lawful to you but not that which has been
announced to you. Shun therefore the abomination of idols, and shun all words of untruth,

22. Surah Al-Hajj verse 31

‫ِين ِب ِه َو َمنْ ُي ْش ِركْ ِباهَّلل ِ َف َكأ َ َّن َما َخرَّ ِمنْ ال َّس َما ِء َف َت ْخ َطفُ ُه‬
َ ‫ُح َن َفا َء هَّلِل ِ َغي َْر ُم ْش ِرك‬
‫ِيق‬
ٍ ‫ان َسح‬ ٍ ‫الط ْي ُر أَ ْو َته ِْوي ِب ِه الرِّ ي ُح فِي َم َك‬َّ
[22:32] Remaining ever inclined to Allah, not associating anything with Him. And whoso
associates anything with Allah, falls, as it were, from a height, and the birds snatch him up, or
the wind blows him away to a distant place

23. Surah Al-Hajj verse 36

َّ‫ص َواف‬ َ ‫َو ْالب ُْد َن َج َع ْل َنا َها َل ُك ْم ِمنْ َش َعائ ِِر هَّللا ِ َل ُك ْم فِي َها َخ ْي ٌر َف ْاذ ُكرُوا اسْ َم هَّللا ِ َع َل ْي َها‬
‫ت ُج ُنو ُب َها َف ُكلُوا ِم ْن َها َوأَ ْط ِعمُوا ْال َقان َِع َو ْالمُعْ َترَّ َك َذل َِك َس َّخرْ َنا َها َل ُك ْم‬ ْ ‫َفإِ َذا َو َج َب‬
َ ‫َل َعلَّ ُك ْم َت ْش ُكر‬
‫ُون‬
[22:37] And among the sacred Signs of Allah We have appointed for you the sacrificial camels.
In them there is much good for you. So mention the name of Allah over them as they stand tied
up in lines. And when they fall down dead on their sides, eat thereof and feed him who is needy
but contented and him who supplicates[1954]. Thus have We subjected them to you, that you
may be thankful.

24. Surah Al-Hajj verse 37

‫َلنْ َي َنا َل هَّللا َ لُحُو ُم َها َوالَ ِد َماؤُ َها َو َل ِكنْ َي َنالُ ُه ال َّت ْق َوى ِم ْن ُك ْم َك َذل َِك َس َّخ َر َها َل ُك ْم‬
َ ‫لِ ُت َك ِّبرُوا هَّللا َ َع َلى َما َهدَا ُك ْم َو َب ِّشرْ ْالمُحْ سِ ن‬
‫ِين‬

[22:38] Their flesh reaches not Allah, nor does their blood, but it is your righteousness that
reaches Him[1955]. Thus has He subjected them to you, that you may glorify Allah for His
guiding you. And give glad tidings to those who do good.

25. Surah Al-Hajj verse 73

‫ون هَّللا ِ َلنْ َي ْخلُقُوا‬

ِ ‫ُون ِمنْ ُد‬ َ ‫ِين َت ْدع‬ َ ‫ب َم َث ٌل َفاسْ َت ِمعُوا َل ُه إِنَّ الَّذ‬ َ ‫َياأَ ُّي َها ال َّناسُ ض ُِر‬
َّ ‫ُف‬
ُ‫الطالِب‬ َ ‫ضع‬ َ ‫الذ َبابُ َش ْي ًئا الَ َيسْ َتنق ُِذوهُ ِم ْن ُه‬
ُّ ‫ُذ َبابًا َو َل ْو اجْ َت َمعُوا َل ُه َوإِنْ َيسْ لُ ْب ُه ُم‬
ُ‫َو ْال َم ْطلُوب‬
[22:74] O men, a similitude is set forth, so listen to it. Surely, those on whom you call instead of
Allah cannot create even a fly, though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly
should snatch away anything from them, they cannot recover it therefrom. Weak indeed are
both the seeker and the sought

26. Surah An-Nur verse 41

‫ت ُك ٌّل َق ْد‬
ٍ ‫صا َّفا‬َ ‫الط ْي ُر‬ َّ ‫ض َو‬ ِ ْ‫ت َواألَر‬ ِ ‫أَ َل ْم َت َرى أَنَّ هَّللا َ ي َُس ِّب ُح َل ُه َمنْ فِي ال َّس َم َاوا‬
َ ُ‫يح ُه َوهَّللا ُ َعلِي ٌم ِب َما َي ْف َعل‬
‫ون‬ َ ‫صالَ َت ُه َو َتسْ ِب‬َ ‫َعلِ َم‬
[24:42] Hast thou not seen that it is Allah Whose praises all who are in the heavens[2050] and
the earth[2050A] celebrate, and so do the birds with their wings outspread[2050B]? Each one
knows his own mode of prayer and praise[2051]. And Allah knows well what they do.

27. Surah An-Nur verse 45

‫َوهَّللا ُ َخ َل َق ُك َّل دَا َّب ٍة ِمنْ َما ٍء َف ِم ْن ُه ْم َمنْ َيمْ شِ ي َع َلى َب ْط ِن ِه َو ِم ْن ُه ْم َمنْ َيمْ شِ ي َع َلى‬
‫ْن َو ِم ْن ُه ْم َمنْ َيمْ شِ ي َع َلى أَرْ َب ٍع َي ْخلُ ُق هَّللا ُ َما َي َشا ُء إِنَّ هَّللا َ َع َلى ُك ِّل َشيْ ٍء‬
ِ ‫ِرجْ َلي‬
‫َقدِي ٌر‬
[24:46] And Allah has created every animal from water. Of them are some that go upon their
bellies, and of them are some that go upon two feet, and among them are some that go upon
four[2054]. Allah creates what He pleases. Surely, Allah has the power to do all that He pleases.

28. Surah Al-Furqan verse 49

‫لِ ُنحْ ِي َي ِب ِه َب ْلدَ ًة َم ْي ًتا َو ُنسْ ِق َي ُه ِممَّا َخ َل ْق َنا أَ ْن َعامًا َوأَ َناسِ يَّ َك ِثيرً ا‬
[25:50] That We may thereby give life to a dead land, and give it for drink to Our creation —
cattle and men in great numbers.

29. Surah Asy-Syu’ara’ verse 133

َ ‫أَ َم َّد ُك ْم ِبأ َ ْن َع ٍام َو َبن‬

‫ِين‬
[26:134] ‘He has helped you with cattle, and sons,

30. Surah Asy-Syu’ara’ verse 155

ٌ
ٍ ُ‫َقا َل َه ِذ ِه َنا َقة َل َها شِ رْ بٌ َو َل ُك ْم شِ رْ بُ َي ْو ٍم َمعْ ل‬
‫وم‬
[26:156] He said, ‘Here is a she-camel: she has her turn of drinking, and you have your turn of
drinking on an appointed day.

31. Surah An-Naml verse 10

َ ‫اك َف َلمَّا َرآ َها َت ْه َت ُّز َكأ َ َّن َها َجانٌّ َولَّى م ُْد ِبرً ا َو َل ْم ي َُع ِّقبْ َيا م‬
َ‫ُوسى ال‬ َ ‫ص‬َ ‫َوأَ ْل ِق َع‬
َ ُ‫َت َخفْ إِ ِّني الَ َي َخافُ َلدَ يَّ ْالمُرْ َسل‬
‫ون‬
[27:11] ‘And throw down thy rod.’ And when he saw it move as though it were a
serpent[2148A], he turned back retreating and did not look back. ‘O Moses, fear not. Verily I am
with thee; the Messengers need have no fear in My presence.

32. Surah An-Naml verse 16-20

‫الطي ِْر َوأُوتِي َنا ِمنْ ُك ِّل‬

َّ ‫ث ُس َل ْي َمانُ دَ اوُ ودَ َو َقا َل َياأَ ُّي َها ال َّناسُ عُلِّمْ َنا مَنطِ َق‬
َ ‫َو َو ِر‬
ُ‫َشيْ ٍء إِنَّ َه َذا َله َُو ْال َفضْ ُل ْالم ُِبين‬
[27:17] And Solomon was heir to David. And he said, ‘O ye people, we have been taught the
language[2152] of birds; and we have had everything bestowed upon us. This indeed is God’s
manifest grace.’
 َّ ‫س َو‬
‫ُون‬ َ ‫الطي ِْر َف ُه ْم ي‬
َ ‫ُوزع‬ ِ ‫ان ُج ُنو ُدهُ ِمنْ ْال ِجنِّ َو‬
ِ ‫اإل ْن‬ َ ‫َوحُشِ َر لِ ُس َل ْي َم‬
[27:18] And there were gathered together unto Solomon his hosts of Jinn[2153] and men and
birds[2154], and they were formed into separate[2155] divisions,

َ ‫ت َنمْ لَ ٌة َياأَ ُّي َها ال َّن ْم ُل ْاد ُخلُوا َم َسا ِك َن ُك ْم الَ َيحْ طِ َم َّن ُك ْم ُسلَ ْي َمانُ َو ُج ُنو ُدهُ َو ُه ْم الَ َي ْش ُعر‬
‫ُون‬ ْ َ‫َح َّتى إِ َذا أَ َت ْوا َعلَى َوادِي ال َّن ْم ِل َقال‬

[27:19] Until when they came to the Valley of Al-Naml[2156], one woman of the tribe of the
Naml said, ‘O ye Naml, enter your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you, while they
know not.[2157]’

َ ‫ك الَّتِي أَ ْن َع‬
َّ‫مْت َع َلي‬ َ ‫ضا ِح ًكا ِمنْ َق ْولِ َها َو َقا َل َربِّ أَ ْو ِزعْ نِي أَنْ أَ ْش ُك َر ِنعْ َم َت‬
َ ‫َف َت َب َّس َم‬
‫ِك‬
َ ‫ِك فِي عِ َباد‬ َ ‫ضاهُ َوأَ ْدخ ِْلنِي ِب َرحْ َمت‬ َ ْ‫صالِحً ا َتر‬َ ‫َو َع َلى َوالِدَ يَّ َوأَنْ أَعْ َم َل‬
‫ِين‬
َ ‫الصَّالِح‬
[27:20] Thereupon he smiled, laughing at her words[2158], and said, ‘My Lord, grant me the
will and power to be grateful for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed upon me and upon my
parents, and to do such good works as would please Thee, and admit me, by Thy mercy, among
Thy righteous servants.’

َ ‫الطي َْر َف َقا َل َما لِي الَ أَ َرى ْاله ُْدهُدَ أَ ْم َك‬
َ ‫ان ِمنْ ْال َغائ ِِب‬
‫ين‬ َّ َ‫َو َت َف َّقد‬
[27:21] And he reviewed[2159] the birds, and said, ‘How is it that I do not see Hudhud? Is he
among the absentees?

33. Surah An-Qasas verse 23-25

ُ
ِ ‫ون َو َو َجدَ ِمنْ ُدون ِِه ْم امْ َرأ َتي‬
‫ْن‬ ِ ‫َو َلمَّا َو َردَ َما َء َم ْد َي َن َو َجدَ َع َل ْي ِه أم ًَّة م َِن ال َّن‬
َ ُ‫اس َيسْ ق‬
‫ودَان َقا َل َما َخ ْط ُب ُك َما َقا َل َتا الَ َنسْ قِي َح َّتى يُصْ د َِر الرِّ َعا ُء َوأَبُو َنا َش ْي ٌخ َك ِبي ٌر‬ِ ‫َت ُذ‬
[28:24] And when he arrived at the water of Midian, he found there a party of men, watering
their flocks. And he found beside them two women keeping back their flocks. He said, ‘What is
the matter with you?[2209A]’ They replied, ‘We cannot water our flocks until the shepherds
take away their flocks, and our father is a very old man.’

َ َ‫الظ ِّل َف َقا َل َربِّ إِ ِّني لِ َما أ‬

َ ‫نز ْل‬
‫ت إِ َليَّ ِمنْ َخي ٍْر َفقِي ٌر‬ ِّ ‫َف َس َقى َل ُه َما ُث َّم َت َولَّى إِ َلى‬
[28:25] So he watered their flocks for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said, ‘My
Lord, I am in need of whatever good Thou mayest send down to me.’
 ‫ك أَجْ َر َما‬ َ ‫ت إِنَّ أَ ِبي َي ْدع‬
َ ‫ُوك لِ َيجْ ِز َي‬ ْ ‫َف َجا َء ْت ُه إِحْ دَا ُه َما َتمْ شِ ي َع َلى اسْ ِتحْ َيا ٍء َقا َل‬
‫ت م َِن ْال َق ْو ِم‬ َ ‫ص َقا َل الَ َت َخفْ َن َج ْو‬ َ ‫ص‬ َ ‫ْت َل َنا َف َلمَّا َجا َءهُ َو َقصَّ َع َل ْي ِه ْال َق‬
َ ‫َس َقي‬
‫ِين‬
َ ‫الظالِم‬َّ

[28:26] And one of the two women came to him, walking bashfully. She said, ‘My father calls
thee that he may reward thee for thy having watered our flocks for us.’ So when he came to
him and told him the story, he said, ‘Fear not; thou hast escaped from the unjust people.[2210]’

34. Surah Al-Qasas verse 31

‫ُوسى أَ ْق ِب ْل‬
َ ‫اك َف َلمَّا َرآ َها َت ْه َت ُّز َكأ َ َّن َها َجانٌّ َولَّى م ُْد ِبرً ا َو َل ْم ي َُع ِّقبْ َيام‬
َ ‫ص‬َ ‫َوأَنْ أَ ْل ِق َع‬
‫ِين‬
َ ‫ك م َِن اآل ِمن‬ َ ‫َوالَ َت َخفْ إِ َّن‬
[28:32] And it also said: ‘Throw down thy rod.’ And when he saw it move as though it were a
serpent, he turned back retreating and did not wait. ‘ O Moses, come forward and fear not;
surely thou art of those who are safe.

35. Surah Al-Ankabut verse 41

‫ت َب ْي ًتا َوإِنَّ أَ ْو َه َن‬ ِ ‫ون هَّللا ِ أَ ْولِ َيا َء َك َم َث ِل ْال َعن َكبُو‬
ْ ‫ت ا َّت َخ َذ‬ ِ ‫ِين ا َّت َخ ُذوا ِمنْ ُد‬
َ ‫َم َث ُل الَّذ‬
َ ‫ت َل ْو َكا ُنوا َيعْ َلم‬
‫ُون‬ ِ ‫ْت ْال َع ْن َكبُو‬
ُ ‫ت َل َبي‬ِ ‫ْال ُبيُو‬
[29:42] The case of those who take helpers beside Allah is like unto the case of the spider, who
makes for herself a house; and surely the frailest[2254] of all houses is the house of the spider,
if they but knew!

36. Surah Luqman verse 19

ِ ‫ت ْال َحم‬
‫ِير‬ ُ ‫ص ْو‬ ِ ‫ِك إِنَّ أَن َك َر األَصْ َوا‬
َ ‫ت َل‬ َ ‫ص ْوت‬ َ ‫َوا ْقصِ ْد فِي َم ْش ِي‬
ْ ‫ك َو‬
َ ْ‫اغضُضْ ِمن‬
[31:20] ‘And walk thou at a moderate pace, and lower thy voice; verily, the most disagreeable
of voices is the voice of the ass.’

37. Surah As-Sajdah verse 27

‫ض ْال ُجر ُِز َف ُن ْخ ِر ُج ِب ِه َزرْ عًا َتأْ ُك ُل ِم ْن ُه‬

ِ ْ‫ُوق ْال َما َء إِ َلى األَر‬
ُ ‫أَ َو َل ْم َي َر ْوا أَ َّنا َنس‬
َ ‫أَ ْن َعا ُم ُه ْم َوأَنفُ ُس ُه ْم أَ َفالَ ُي ْبصِ ر‬
‫ُون‬
[32:28] Have they not seen that We drive the water to the dry land and produce thereby crops
of which their cattle eat, and they themselves? Will they not then see?

38. Surah Fatir verse 28

‫اس َوال َّد َوابِّ َواألَ ْن َع ِام م ُْخ َتلِفٌ أَ ْل َوا ُن ُه َك َذل َِك إِ َّن َما َي ْخ َشى هَّللا َ ِمنْ عِ َبا ِد ِه‬
ِ ‫َو ِمنْ ال َّن‬
‫ْال ُع َل َما ُء إِنَّ هَّللا َ َع ِزي ٌز َغفُو ٌر‬
[35:29] And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, there are various colours? Only those
of His servants who possess knowledge fear Allah[2419]. Verily, Allah is Mighty, Most Forgiving.
