If I Will Call, He Will Speak

I. Prophecy released by Brother Copeland at the January 2009 Minister’s Conference:

Don’t pay attention or make any plans based on what the media says or what the
politicians say. Stand on My Word in John 16. Pay attention to Me. I, the Holy Spirit,
will obey Verses 13-15. I will show you things to come. I will lead you through the
troubled times. I already have THE plan for you and it is very good. Follow it. It will
not only get you through, it will place you in a very high place – a rich place – a strong
place of victory. You will have to discipline yourself and be diligent to listen to Me. All
the other voices have a plan – a word – an idea for your future and your security. Don’t
listen to the Babylonian system. It has fallen apart. My system is stronger than ever. My
kingdom is flourishing and the blessing is the place to be. Keep your eyes on My Word.
Listen to it. It will guide you, and I will perform it. Love Me, love My people as I have
loved you. Walk in it. Love never fails and neither does My plan. Be very cautious to
stay completely clean from covetousness. 1 Timothy 6:10 must live in the forefront of
your thinking. If you will do these things and continue therein, you will come into your
wealthy place – a place lifted up – a place in me already planned and prepared for you
right now, here, not in heaven. Not yet, but it will seem like heaven right in the midst of
all the trouble, and you will be able to reach out to untold numbers of suffering people
with the good news of the gospel. I am coming very soon – sooner than you think. Keep
your eyes on Me and you will get the job done.
II. There will be some amazing buying opportunities for God’s people in these days.
A. The Babylonian system is falling apart, but great opportunities await the one who
will hear God’s instructions.
B. Stocks are going to be available for bargain prices.
C. Watch for wealth transfers over the next two years.
D. God always made a way out of every recession for His people.
E. The greatest recession was the flood, but Noah came out of it with God’s
blessing!
1. Make yourself an ark.
2. When there was darkness in Egypt, there was light in Goshen.
II. Base Scripture: 2 Peter 1:3 (Amp.) – For His divine power has bestowed upon us all
things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal]
knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).
A. Bestowed = given; granted (past tense).

2
B. God has already given us all our stuff here on the earth.
C. Don’t pray for things; pray for seed; seed for things.
III. The four keys to access all things:
A. The blessing has already been commanded (appointed; set in order).
B. You must have the finality of faith.
C. All things on earth are accessed by a seed.
D. You must be Spirit-led.
IV. Romans 8:14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
A. Led = argo (Greek) = led, driven, controlled by.
B. Success is a series of right decisions.
C. The Holy Spirit teaches us to profit, not to fail.
D. God said through Brother Copeland’s prophecy, “I will lead you.”
E. Disobedience is the key to every failure.
F. Sons are not the same as children.
V. Romans 8:16 – The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of
God.
A. Children = teknon = little baby; little toddler.
B. Sons = huios = mature sons.
VI. Isaiah 48:17 – Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the
LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.
A. The way you profit is by letting the Lord lead!
B. When mature sons play Follow-the-Leader, they let the Holy Ghost be the leader.
VII. Isaiah 46:10 – Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that
are not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,'
VIII. Isaiah 58:11 – The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought,
and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of
water, whose waters do not fail.
IX. Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD,
thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
12
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
13
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

3
14
I will be found by you, says the LORD.
A. God has a plan for us to prosper.
B. If you will call, He will speak. No calling, no leading!
C. God speaks little, but answers much. We call; He answers.
D. When we seek, we always find. No seeking, no finding.
E. Start seeking by reading your Bible and praying in the Spirit.
F. God’s plan for your life cannot be accomplished without the Holy Ghost.
X. Matthew 3:16 – When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the
water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God
descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I
17

am well pleased."
Continue to Chapter 4:1 – Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be
tempted by the devil.
A. Jesus came to earth to fulfill the plan of God, but He could not do it without the
Holy Spirit.
B. His ministry began after He got filled.
C. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit, so do we.
D. Vs 17: Jesus hadn’t fulfilled His purpose yet, but God said He was well pleased.
1. God was declaring the end from the beginning.
2. Now that Jesus was a Spirit-filled human, His destiny was locked-on.
3. Everything that Jesus did from that point on was Spirit-led.
E. Vs 4:1: Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
1. Led is the Greek word “argo” (led, driven, and controlled by).
2. God was well-pleased with His beloved Son (huios).
3. “Sons” are Spirit-led!
4. You can’t just be Spirit-filled; you have to be Spirit-led.
5. If the sole purpose for the wilderness fast was to be tempted, the Holy
Spirit was 39 days early!
6. The devil showed up on the 40th day when Jesus was hungry.

4
7. The primary purpose of the wilderness excursion was for Jesus to get to
know the voice of the Holy Spirit.
XI. Mark 1:10 – And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting
and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove.
11
Then a voice came from heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased.”
12
Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.
A. Vs 12: Immediately Jesus was led by the Spirit.
B. Jesus gave up control immediately.
C. Drove = “argo” = led, driven, controlled by.
XII. Luke 3:22 – And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a
voice came from heaven which said, "You are My beloved Son; in You I am well
pleased."
23
Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age.
A. Jesus was now equipped with the Holy Spirit and ready to begin His ministry.
B. Jesus did not begin anything until He got filled with the Spirit.
C. Skip over all the “begots” in the remainder of Chapter 3 and pick up in Luke 4:1.
XIII. Luke 4:1 – Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and
was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2
being tempted for forty days by the devil. and in those days He ate nothing, and
afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.
3
And the devil said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become
bread."
4
But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word of God.' "
5
Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the
world in a moment of time.
6
And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this
has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.
7
Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours."
8
And Jesus answered and said to him, "Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, 'You
shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.' "

5
9
Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to
Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.
10
For it is written: 'He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,'
11
"and, 'In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.' "
12
And Jesus answered and said to him, "It has been said, 'You shall not tempt the LORD
your God.' "
Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an
13

opportune time.
14
Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out
through all the surrounding region.
A. Vs 2: By the 40th day, Jesus was weak from hunger.
B. The devil thought he could take advantage of Jesus’ weak flesh.
C. However, this was Jesus’ strongest hour spiritually.
D. Vs 4: Jesus was able to draw up the scripture immediately because He was so
sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
E. When temptation rises against you, let the scripture rise up in you!
F. Don’t try to handle the situation yourself.
G. Turn to the Holy Spirit and ask what you should say to the temptation.
H. Vs 13: After successfully casting down every temptation, Jesus returned to
Galilee in the power of the Spirit.
XIV. John 10:4 – And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep
follow him, for they know his voice.
5
Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know
the voice of strangers."
Skip to Vs 10 – The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I
have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
A. Vs 4: Jesus goes before you (not behind you)!
B. Vs 5: If you are hitting a brick wall right now, you better back up.
C. Jesus is supposed to be in front of you, and He takes you through doors!
D. Do you know His voice?
E. Vs 10: If you aren’t experiencing abundant life, you don’t know His voice.
F. Knowing the voice of the Lord is the key to abundant life.

6
XV. John 10:27 – My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
A. Mark 4:23 – If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."
B. Jesus had a deeper meaning here than what the translators have conveyed.
C. What else are ears for but to hear?
D. Mark 4:23 in the Amplified – If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening
and let him perceive and comprehend.
E. “Let him hear” = be listening, perceive; comprehend.
F. Hear + Listen!
G. The Word only prospers for the one who hears AND listens.
H. John 10:27 in the Amplified – The sheep that are My own hear and are listening
to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.
H. Let’s look at an example of how this works.
XVI. John 11:1 – Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her
sister Martha.
2
It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her
hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
3
Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, "Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick."
4
When Jesus heard that, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of
God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it."
5
Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
6
So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He
was.
7
Then after this He said to the disciples, "Let us go to Judea again."
8
The disciples said to Him, "Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You
going there again?"
9
Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he
does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.
10
But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."
These things He said, and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I
11

go that I may wake him up."

A. Vs 4 – Jesus states the sickness was not unto death, yet Lazarus ended up dying.
1. He was embalmed and in the tomb! That’s pretty dead.

7
2. What Jesus was saying is, “Stop being moved by what you see.”
3. It is not over until the manifestation comes!
4. Jesus was speaking the end from the beginning.
5. Jesus called things according to the “light-be” process.
6. Fig trees, storms, wind – even death had to obey what Jesus decreed.
B. Vs 5-6 – Jesus loved Lazarus so much that He stayed away for two days!
1. There was more here than meets the eye.
2. Jesus was not letting his emotions dictate His actions.
3. Despite His intense love for Lazarus, He had to wait on the Holy Ghost.
C. Vs 9 – “Light” was referring to the light that was within Jesus (the Holy Spirit).
1. The Holy Spirit enlightened Jesus that the Jews who wanted to stone Him
had set an ambush.
2. Those Jews knew how much Jesus loved Lazarus, so they were expecting
Him to show up immediately.
3. Had Jesus jumped the gun, He would have come up against their
onslaught.
4. The Holy Ghost will lead you out of the enemy’s snares.
D. Vs 11 – Once the coast was clear, Jesus went to awaken Lazarus from his “sleep.”
E. When bad things happen to people, the question is, “Were they listening?”
F. The Spirit will prevent you from being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
XVII. John 16:13 – However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all
truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak;
and He will tell you things to come.
A. When it comes to making decisions, don’t be moved by your flesh.
B. God sees outside of the realm of time.
1. He will reveal to the Holy Spirit what instruction you need.
2. The Holy Spirit gets His orders from headquarters!
3. You have to tune in to His channel.
C. Learn to turn! Turn to the Holy Spirit and He will show you things to come.
D. Body parts that are disconnected from the head do not function according to their
purpose.

8
E. Every time you disobey the Holy Spirit, you become a malfunctioning member of
the body of Christ.
F. Same Verse in the Message – But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth,
he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won't
draw attention to himself, but will make sense out of what is about to happen and,
indeed, out of all that I have done and said.
G. Testimony of Dr. Siddiki’s sister in London who became very ill in Dec. 2008.
1. Infection had set into her internal organs and she had less than 12 hours.
2. The doctor’s report was a 5% chance of survival.
3. Dr. Siddiki had to subdue his emotions, and turn to the Holy Spirit.
4. The instruction was to gather together with certain colleagues for prayer.
5. First priority was to take authority in this situation.
6. After 2-1/2 hours of prayer, they got a release.
7. The Lord said to finish out the meetings in Orlando and then in two days
fly out to London.
8. When he arrived to the hospital, his sister was in a coma and her organs
were shutting down – she was on life support.
9. They refused to sign the release to let her die.
10. Within 8 days, she came out of the coma, breathed on her own, and is now
at home with her bladder, kidneys, heart and lungs functioning fine.

their years in pleasures.
12

knowledge.
XIX. Psalms 84:11 – For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and
glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
A. No good thing will He withhold = NO LACK in your wealth, health, welfare,
happiness, gain, and prosperity.
B. Uprightly = those who are obedient.
C. Pray and obey and no good thing will be withheld from you!
XX. 2 Corinthians 9:10 – Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food,
supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
A. Harvest never follows a need; it only follows a seed.

9
B. Turn to the Holy Spirit and ask for the instruction – and then obey!
C. Ask the Lord what seed will meet the need.
D. This is a NO-LACK YEAR!
E. Get your HOT MESSAGE from God!
XXI. John 12:24 – Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground
and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
A. Seed contains within itself the supernatural blueprint for reproduction and
increase.
B. Your harvest is hidden in a seed.
XXII. Luke 6:38 – Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that
you use, it will be measured back to you."
A. God uses men to put into your bosom.
B. The harvest does not come from God, but the seed does.
