• Audience reception analysis of a group of fifteen local third-graders in response to a selected work of popular children’s literature
• Analyzed how themes from the findings in the content analysis compared with the results of the audience reception to develop an
understanding of how the presence of hegemonic ideologies and ethnic stereotypes in children’s literature affect youth readers
