epro • System III MBB Waterproofing / Gas Barrier Patent Pending

Excellent Strength and Durability • Exceptional Chemical Resistance • Seamless System • Fully Bonded to Slab • Redundant Protection

System Description
System III MBB is a field installed composite
waterproofing and gas vapor barrier that is
Ecoshield-PB
comprised of a water-based Polymer Modified
Asphalt (PMA) membrane and Bentonite sheet Ecoline-S
sandwiched between two HDPE and Polypropylene Ecoshield-P
fabric laminate films which provides the durability
and chemical resistance of HDPE with the Soil

constructability and installation efficiencies of a

PMA and the self sealing ability of Bentonite.

System Components

Ecoshield-P (Base Course) – An HDPE film

laminated with a nonwoven polypropylene fabric Excellent Strength and Chemical Resistance – The
geo-membrane. result of the unique field installed composite design
Ecoline-S (Middle Course) – A spray or fluid with HDPE Films.
applied, water based Polymer Modified Asphalt
Self Sealing – The bentonite layer seals at any
membrane. penetration of the barrier.
Ecoshield-PB - A geocomposite membrane
comprised of bentonite granules laminated to an Seamless System – The fluid applied component
HDPE and polypropylene fabric sheet membrane. makes the transition details to field barrier a
monolithic installation.
Additional Information
Fully Bonded to Slab – The geo-textile surface of the
barrier mechanically interlocks with the concrete
