U-10 Hurling Blitz
Our U-10 panel travelled to Rathcormac on Saturday for Round 3
of the Go-Games Blitzes. We played four games, against Youghal,
Carrigtwohill, Bride Rovers and Midleton, although the zones
were removed for our game against our hosts. We competed well
in all games, with Andrew Foley playing a starring role in goals
and Padraig Leahy scoring freely at the other end. Kieran Daly
marked his return from his travels with a goal in our final game,
while all others played their heart out.
Other news
Unfortunately our planned Under 9 hurling game against
Castlelyons on Sunday morning fell victim to the foul weather
conditions - we hope to reschedule this fixture as soon as possible.
Our Under 8 hurling training re-commences this Tuesday 20th at
5.30 after a few weeks break, and will continue in this slot for the
coming weeks.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish our Fé 14 'A' foot-

June 24th was a beautiful day as the Kinsalebeg Thursday Club Schmidt),Patrick Prendergast(Franz),Paula Cliffe ,Kate Cliffe,
headed off on their summer tour. First stop was the Showground
Shopping centre, where everyone was glad to quench their thirst
with some tea, break over then we hit the shops, then it was back
to the bus to head for Cashel for our lunch We then paid a visit to
Cashel Folk Park where there was a great display of Interesting
things from days gone by. After pottering around here we went off
to Farney Castle. A lovely welcome awaited us there after our tour
of the castle and gift shop we proceeded to the tearoom for after-
noon tea; before we left we were treated to some beautiful
melodies on the harp. Our next stop was Holy Cross Abbey, where
the beauty and peace of the grounds and church had a very
poignant effect most took this opportunity to light candles, keel
and say a prayer, I think at times all our members who have gone
ahead were there again in Holy Cross Church with us. More sou-
venirs were purchased before we set off for dinner in Clonmel. We
had a beautiful meal, and finished off with a few dances, it was a
pity the night had to end but content and happy we headed home
Thanks to all staff and people we met on our day our we had a
great time and to all our rural transport drivers and Liam our driv-
