This course involves a study of professional responsibility and the canons of legal ethics.
Subjects covered include the basic ethical principles and duties of the lawyer to the client,
the court, the bar and the public; the theory and practice of professional responsibility; the
common ethical issues faced by young lawyers; and the handling of pro bono, public
interest and human rights cases.
