As a student, have you ever wondered how to pray?

As a young man I
found myself praying for all my desires, and being frustrated after 30
seconds. The reason I became frustrated was because I wasn’t focused on
God’s desires and I wasn’t listening to what God was trying to say to me.
Prayer is to be communication with God. This means that we are speaking
to Him and He is speaking to us.

Prayer has to be an essential part of your daily life as a Christian. It

becomes even more essential as you take a STAND on your campus for
Christ. Ask God to teach you how to pray for your campus. Take a look at
these verses to give you a blueprint of how Jesus said to pray.

1. “10a May your kingdom come soon” – We are not in the business of
building our kingdom, this is God’s kingdom that he wants to establish on
your campus.
2. “10b May your will be done…” – Each day we want to accomplish God’s
desires. He has a plan for every single day you step foot on your campus.
3. “11a Give us our food for today…” – As you spend time in God’s word,
your spirit will be fed and you be able to speak life into your friends and
teachers.
4. “12a …and forgive us our sins…deliver us from the evil one.” – We are
all susceptible to peer pressure. Ask God to keep your heart pure and keep
