It’s Friday morning and you walk into math class.

You get out your text

book, paper, and pencil and you’re ready for the day. Suddenly the teacher
stands in front of the class with a giant stack of papers. She tells everyone
to clear their desks that today is the final exam and it will count for 100% of
your grade. Panic sets in. Everyone begins to look around at each other in
utter shock. No one had any idea that there would be a test much less the
final exam. As you begin to clear your desk, you suddenly scream out,
“This is so unfair! Why didn’t you tell us about the test?”

•This story might seem absurd, but Christians daily sit silently, knowing that
there is a “test” close at hand, but are unmoved to tell non-believers how to
pass it.
•How can anyone know the truth unless someone tells them?

1. “14a…How then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?” –
Unbelievers won’t be able to call out to Jesus. It won’t be automatic as it is
in believers.
2. “14b…And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not
heard?” – Someone who was taught about Jesus their whole lives would
think it strange not to believe in Him. It is that strange for someone to
believe in Him who has never heard of Him.

Tell – Day 3 3. “14c…And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” –
This is the part where we come in. We have to tell! There is no other way!
