PPP Method

1. Level : Basic II
2. Aims : To present, practice Countable & Uncountable Nouns.
3. Exponent : A/an/two/three____

5. Aids : Pictures, a set of hand out, white board, marker.

7. Procedure

7.1 Warm Up : Teacher divided class into 2 groups.


Teacher gives Hangman games (names of country in the world).
Each group has to guess. The winner is the one who can guess more than the other
group.

7.2 Presentation :
Teacher puts a picture of The Poor and The Have and elicits from the class the
possible name/occupation/nationality, etc.

Teacher writes most suitable suggestions under picture.


Teacher asks the student what are needed by The Poor.
Teacher writes the suitable answer from student.
Teacher asks the student what are owned by The Have.
Teacher writes the suitable answer from student.
Teacher delivers the concept of countable and uncountable nouns.
Teacher drills the concept to each student.

Teacher asks the student what suppose the possible cause that can make some people
of a country or nation can be poor or wealth.

7.3 Practice
Teacher distributes the hand out and student read it through.
Teacher instruct student to determine and fill in the box which is countable or
uncountable nouns.
Teacher instruct student to write the correct word for each object.
Report back: Student tell teacher what is the answer.

7.4 Production
Preparation for role play.
Teacher creates a story that there are a relationship between The Poor and The Have;
in fact they are relatives but no long to see each other. Because no long to see they
chat enthusiastically and at the end of the chat, The Have decided to give some of
goods that needed by The Poor.
Role Play.
A pair student practices the dialogue.
Report Back: Student say what are the goods that The Have want to give to The Poor.

4. Time : 60 minutes approximately.
5. Aids: Pictures, a set of hand out, a set of card named with kinds of occupation,
white board, and marker.

7. Procedure

7.1 Warm Up :
Teacher gives a game with a set of a card. Each of cards named with an occupation.
Every student has to stand in front of the class and describing what the occupation is
so that the other student can guess. The games will end when all the student have their
chance to stand and describe the names of occupation in front of the class.

7.2 Presentation :
Teacher puts a picture of ‘Bakul Seller” and elicits from the class the possible
name/occupation/nationality, etc.
Teacher writes most suitable suggestions under picture.
Teacher asks the student can they guess how many bakul that she brings on her
shoulder every day?
Teacher writes the suitable answer from student.
Teacher asks the student can they guess how much money does the bakul seller get
each day?
Teacher writes the suitable answer from student.

Teacher delivers the concept of “How many and how much?”


Teacher drills the concept to each student.

Teacher asks the student have they seen “the bakul seller” before?
Teacher asks the student why does she still be a bakul seller?, (as we know there are
possible jobs rather be a bakul seller).
Teacher asks the student what their feeling if the see a bakul seller like in the picture?

7.3 Practice
Teacher distributes the hand out and student read it through.
Teacher puts student into two large groups – As and Bs- and tell them to work out the
question they are going to ask to their partners.
instruct student to determine and fill in the box which is countable or uncountable
nouns.
Teacher instruct student to write the correct word for each object.
Report back: Student tell teacher what is the answer.

7.4 Production
