Semester Calendar Course Assignment and Due Dates

3. Discussion Introduction- Hello and Welcome due Sunday,

Notice After September 12 passes, you will begin work from the textbook. I will
not extend an assignment's due date because you failed to purchase your
textbook beforehand, so do not wait until the last minute to order it. You
can buy the textbook substitution that is available in the bookstore as
well.

Suggestion: If you are going to order online, please use the NSCC campus
bookstore because you will receive book much quicker than another

Final Exam Information and Instructions
[November 29-December 3]
Exam Information: Your essay exam will cover one of the methods of
development [Narration, Description, Process, Comparison/Contrast,
Cause/Effect, or Argumentation]. You will be writing a five to seven
paragraph essay. You will need to make sure you are familiar with all the
different methods covered throughout the semester, so you can be
prepared to write on any one of them.

If you fail to take the essay final exam, you will fail the course regardless
of your performance in the course. It is mandatory.

Exam Instructions and Rules:

1. You will need at least two hours to complete the exam.


2. If you go past the two hour allotment, the exam will
automatically close and be graded as zero .
3.You will be typing it into a text box. Be careful of formatting.
4. Make sure your head your essay in MLA format and
5. After this time has passed, it will be closed for good! No
Exceptions!!!
6. You need to have it submitted by 11:55pm. Anytime after this,
you will be locked out of the exam.
7. There will be no makeup given for this exam
8. The final essay exam can be taken from your home computer;
you will not be using the Testing Center.
