Expectedly almost 1500 processions to occur from the 1st to the 10th
Muharram. Mostly commencing after 04:00 pm. It is expected that government offices and

Heavy Police presence is expected throughout the city, procession
routes will be blocked to vehicle traffic, offering alternate routes for
public commuting.

Expectedly over 800 possessions will occur, within Hyderabad

District, on the 16 Dec and congregate into the main possession Kadam
Garden to Karwala (Station Road), approx. 1.5 kms in length.
9th Muharram
09:00 am City shut down on 9th and 10th Muharram.
(16th Dec 2010) The Shia ceremonial possessions are set for completion at 1500hrs,
while the Sunni Ceremonial possessions are set to run from 1500hrs to
1800hrs.

8th Muharram The main procession is expected to start at 11:00 am at the 8th day of

10th Muharram On the 10th Day of Moharram the main procession starts from the Clock
07:00 am Tower at 07:00 hours towards Mashhad-e-Imam (Rohri City) The
