Crusade Report

ON IBADAN CITY WIDE CRUSADE HELD AT


AMPHITHEATRE HALL ADAMASINGBA

Theme: Let My People Go (Ex. 5:1)

THUR.14TH & FRI. 17TH OCTOBER 2010.

We thank God for his faithfulness. Indeed ”we walk by faith and not by sight”. If not
because of faith and mighty power of God, the crusade programme wouldn’t have been
successful. The entire programme was quite unprecedented in the history of ECWA
Ibadan DCC. To God be the glory.

We really thank God for


making it a reality. We also
thank God for his unfailing
love and abiding grace over
us.

DAY1 CRUSADE PROGRAMME

The program started with a


series of praise and worship
songs led by ECWA Mass
Choir. Evang. Emmanuel
Ayeariwi also ministered in
songs. The program witnessed a massive turned out of ECWA members both within
Ibadan city and outside. Even non-ECWA members of different denominations were not
left out of the scene. The crusade was rounded off with a powerful deliverance message
from a renown and worldwide evangelist (Evang Isaac Omolehin) and also a series of
prayer points were pronounced by the guest speaker. God really moved in miraculously
way.
DAY 2 (MUSICAL CONCERT AND SONGS MINISTRATION)

The crusade programme witnessed a series of song ministration from series of invited
guest ministers. Adamasingba stadium Amphitheatre was packed full of ECWA
members and other Christian members from different denominations. Pastor Awotunde
was the first person to ministers in songs, people were thrilled with his ministrations.

Closely followed was ECWA


Ibadan Mass Choir who
ministered to us in series of song
spices and backed up with guitar
based which really showcase the
traditional ECWA full melody, a
drama was also stage along with
their ministrations.

ECWA Hausa mass choir were


not left out in the race as they
were also given chance to ministers in Hausa language, with a drama and choreography.
All this was interpreted in English language by Pastor Pam Bot Elias.

ECWA Yoruba Mushin Choir (the award winner best gospel singer in Lagos 2008), were
also present to render their song ministration. They sang from their latest Album
(National cakes), they also sang their popular song “Omije Oju mi” the whole crusade
ground was thrown in dancing galore as they sang.

The Music concert was rounded


off with Evang Ebenezer Obey
and his band men. He also sang
from his latest Album “Onu
Omije mi nu”, and some of his
old tracks too.

The wife of her excellency


chief (Mrs) Alao Akala ably
represented by one of the
special adviser to the governor
on education sector. She
delivered the keynote address on behalf of wife of the Governor of Oyo state.

Evang Issac Omoleyin also prayed for those who are waiting unto the Lord for the fruit
of the womb.This second day was declared a praise night only.

DAY 3 CRUSADE PROGRAMME (SATURDAY)

The programme commenced as usual by 5pm. ECWA Ibadan Mass Choir led the praise
and worship session as people were trooping into the Amphi theatre hall at
Adamasingba Stadium. The Saturday event was greatly witnessed by numbers of ECWA
members within and outside Ibadan and also Christians from other denomination were
not left out in the crusade programme. ECWA Ibadan Mass Choir were given a chance to
render a special number. Hausa choir from sabo area were also given a chance to render
their songs ministration in Hausa language. The ministration witnessed a cheorography
displayed by member of Hausa choir.

Evang Ayeariwi also ministered specially in songs on that


day. There was a powerful message which led to altar
call as many people gave their lives to Christ. The
counselors were out to meet with new convert and took
some vital information from them for proper follow up.

DAY 4 CRUSADE PROGRAMME (SUNDAY)

The fourth day of the programme was the grand finale


as the programme started as usual by 5pm, though
Sunday worship service were held in various churches.
Adamasingba stadium were fully packed with members
within and outside ECWA. The programme started with
Mass Choir rendering praise and worship songs. We were also very priviledged to have
Evang Ayeariwi minister in song throughout the four days crusade programme. As the
Guest speaker was about t o mount the podium for message, there was heavy rainfall
that fell at the crusade ground which turnout to be shower of blessing. The programme
ended with a powerful message and prevalent prayers rendered by the guest speaker.

WORKER SEMINAR (FRIDAY & SATURDAY) 10.00AM – 12.00PM

Worker seminar was conducted by the guest speaker (Evang Isaac omolehin).

The church worker comprises


of elders (both past &
present), Sunday school
teacher, fellowship leaders,
choir executives, ushers etc.
The program took place in the
morning at ECWA Ode-Oolo
between 10am and 12pm
each day. The programme
was quite attended by a great
number of ECWA church
workers. The guest speaker
emphasize on the role of church workers in the vineyard of God. They are to feed the
pastor the specific information about the church member as pastors cannot do it all
alone. Church worker are to assist pastors where necessary. Series of questions were
asked by the members present and the questions are well treated accordingly.

The entire programme was quite unprecedented in the history of ECWA Ibadan DCC.To
God be the glory.
