Installation Guide
Dear Panel Member,

Below are the instructions on downloading IAM Software. Please follow the step by step for successful installation of the
software.

Step 1.
Create a directory “IAM” on your desktop or “C:\” drive. You would need this directory in the next steps of instructions
wherein you would install the IAM software.

Step 2.
Navigate to http://iam.imrbint.com/iamp/exe/iam.exe on your browser. A dialog window, as illustrated below, will be
displayed. Please click on “Save” button in the dialog window

Step 3.
Once you click the “Save” button, a window with “Save As” title will be displayed. Navigate to “IAM” directory that you
created in Step 1 (the below illustration shows the directory in “C:\” drive). Save the file in this directory.

Step 4.
After few seconds, the “Download complete” window will appear. Click on “Close” button in this window. Go ahead and close
the browser window through which you navigated on the download link in Step 2.

Step 5.
Executing the IAM Software for the first time.
If you have saved the file on C:\ drive, then
• Double click on “My Computer” icon on your desktop.
• Double click on “C:\” drive.
• Double click on “IAM” directory

If you have saved the file in a directory on the desktop. Please repeat the above steps by double clicking on the directory on
your desktop.

Your screen should display a window illustrated below.


Double click on the file named “iam”.

Step 6.
Once you double click on “iam”, a window titled “IMRB – Internet Audience Measurement System – 0.10.0.62” will be
displayed. You need to go to the log in button.

Step 7.
Upon hitting “Login” button, a small window would prompt for your “Email” and “Password”. Go ahead and type your login
id/username and password as specified in the mail you received from IAM@IMRBINT.COM. However you can reset the
password on your first usage. It is advisable to click on the checkbox titled “Remember my ID and password”. This option
enables the software to store the credentials of login and password for future usage.

In case users wish to change their password, they need to go to the ‘reset password’ button which will open the following
window. Enter your email and old password, followed by the new password.

Upon successful change of password, a window shown as below will be displayed.

In this case, user needs to click the login button again and login with their email and new password.

Step 8.
If the above steps were executed appropriately, the IAM logo will be displayed on the taskbar in the notification area.

In case you want to stop the tracing of the websites you surf, you can log-off from the software by right-clicking on the logo in
the taskbar. Further, you can also choose to exit from the software by selecting “Exit” from this menu.

Step 9.
For subsequent starts of this software (in case you have logged off without shutting down the computer), double click the
“IAM” icon from the directory you have saved the software in. It will start tracing the website behaviour without asking for
login credentials if you have checked on “Remember my ID and Password” on previous steps. Else it would prompt for your
email and password.

In case you have restarted the computer, an automatic window will come up and prompt you to log in whenever it will detect
any browser activity. .
