It consists of Cabinet Ministers and the MECC as the secretariat. This committee is chaired by the Minister of MECC. • National Environment Coordination Committee. This committee acts as the advisory body. It is chaired by the Minister of MECC and members are departmental heads from government agencies, NGOs, statutory board and private sectors • Technical Working Group: Group members are national experts from various government agencies, NGOs and board. Responsible for the implementation of project work at the technical level. This group is chaired by the Director of MECC. • Management Unit: This unit is responsible for the overall management of climate change projects • Climate Change Management Team: Oversee and coordinate all climate change project activities within MECC • Climate Change Division in MECC: One of the four divisions within MECC. Has overall responsibility for the management of climate change activities in MECC.
