Definisi 2
is the process of exchanging information and
ideas. An active process, it involves encod-
ing, transmitting, and decoding intended
messages. There are many means of com-
municating and many different language sys-
tems. Speech and language are only a por-
tion of communication. Other aspects of
communication may enhance or even eclipse
the linguistic code. These aspects are par-
alinguistic, nonlinguistic, and metalinguistic.

The transmission of information so that the re-
cipient understands what the sender intends.
Communication is a movement of matter or en-
ergy between two parts of the universe. This
matter or energy can be a carrier of information.
A fundamental component of social behavior;
the transmission of information (messages) be-
tween a sender and a receiver using any of the
five senses. Language is a form of communica-
tion specific to humans.
