Which are the necessary books for gate mechanical engineering?

There is no such book for GATE exam. All you have to do is to read the standard author books for each
subject mentioned in the syllabus. Refer at least two books per subject, let one of them explains the concept
in detail (possibly foreign author books), the other should contain, maximum no of problems. Solve the
previous year Gate question papers. Work out as many problems as you can.
