Notice

In furtherance of the EoI notice issued by the Ministry under the Scheme
of Cold Chain , Value Addition and Preservation Infrastructure , project
proposals submitted by various applicants have been appraised by the Project
Management Agency based on the following basic eligibility criteria:-

The applicant must have net worth of at least 1.5 times of the grant
amount applied.

• The applicant should have a Detailed Project Report (DPR), having broad
contents as detailed in the enclosure to this EOI notice (template of DPR)
duly appraised by bank / financial institution with sanction of term loan
from bank, if any.

• As per Para . 3 of the Operational Guidelines of the Scheme , the project

must have at least two of the components out of (a), (b) or ( c) mentioned in
the Guidelines . The project for setting up of Irradiation facility may
though be treated as a stand -alone for the purpose of availing grant.

• As per Para 6.0 of the Operational Guidelines of the Scheme, the

Applicant or its associate concerns should not have availed any financial
assistance under the Scheme of Cold Chain , Value Addition and
Preservation Infrastructure in the past from MFPI.

Based on appraisal, the eligibility status along with observations of

appraising agency are as enclosed to this notice.

All applicants (except those who have been found eligible ) have been
issued individual letters from Ministry intimating specific shortcoming (s) with
the intimation that clarification / representation , if any, may be submitted on
date and time indicates in the letter as well as in enclosure to this notice.
