KA-VROOM’S HISTORY
In January of 2010, a class at Maple Ridge
City Secondary School organized a fun community
Province event. This class was called For Academically
Creative and Talented Students (FACTS). This
Postal Code event became the first Maple Ridge Soapbox
Derby in over 40 years and was a community

success with over 14 young racers between the
Pledge/Donation ages of 5 and 14.

This year, MRSS staff and students are
organizing a second Ka-Vroom soapbox derby.
Please Direct my Wherever it is needed most The Ka-Vroom Team is hoping to make this year’s
donation to: The Participants event bigger and better than last year’s. To do
