Dear brothers/sisters,

We are delighted to welcome you to Dubai for the joyous occasion of the Inauguration of SMSF-
Meditation Centre, Dubai on the 21st of January, 2011.
Rev. Master is planning to arrive in Dubai, UAE on 17th January 2011. During this period Master will
stay at Br. Sanjay Meherish’s residence.
Kindly read the information below carefully.

UAE Entry Visa


• For those nationalities that require a visa before arriving into Dubai, obtaining UAE Visa is your
responsibility.
• Sometimes visas applied by individuals, companies or hotel are rejected by the authorities due to
some doubts for which SMSF is not responsible as it the discretion of the visa issuing authorities.
The fee for this process is set by the local government and is non-refundable disregarding the result
of the application.
• Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are exempted from visa requirements so
they do not require a visa on arrival. The following nationalities are granted a visit visa free of
charge upon arrival viz. UK, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg,
Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Malta, Spain,
Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, USA, Australia, New Zealand,
Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. However to avoid any disappointment or
confusion at the time of your travel, we suggest you immediately check your visa requirement with
your chosen airline prior to flying on any recent changes in the visa rules.
• Canadian Passport Holders require visa to enter Dubai – UAE. Please check with your airline before
arriving into Dubai.
• Kindly check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the proposed date of entry
into Dubai.
• For Indian passport holders arriving from India, please check that your passport has ‘Emigration
Check Not Required’ stamp on it.
• If you need the Hotel to arrange for Entry Visa for you, you will need to apply through the hotel
directly by filling up their forms on-line. The processing of visa application will cost you 450 UAE
Dirham (this amount is non-refundable). Please allow two week for the processing of the visa.
• Single females from certain countries might be refused entry visa to UAE.
• The UAE custom is highly sensitive towards medicine being brought into the land. Please ensure
that you carry prescriptions for any kind of medicine you are bringing with you. The safest measure

is NOT to bring anything that you are not prescribed for even over-counter medications. Please
consider with care.

Hotel Arrangements
We are pleased to inform you that we have made special arrangements with Citymax Hotels and they
have agreed to the following rates on sharing basis at special discounted rates. It is ideally located, easy
to reach the new Meditation Centre and Master’s residence by using Metro. An information pamphlet
will be given on arrival at the hotel to all visiting members with details on how to commute, etc.
Accommodation type and price per night per room:
• Room for double occupancy (two single beds or one queen bed upon availability) at AED 210 per
night including breakfast. This works out to AED 105 per person per night. In case someone
wants to have individual room for self then the rate id Dhs.180/- per night per person.
• These special rates and sharing arrangements at the hotel are applicable from 16th January to 25th
January 2011 ONLY. For any early check-in and late check-out the prevailing (no discount) Hotel
tariff will apply.
• The room charge is inclusive of taxes and breakfast. Your Credit card will be swiped on arrival (or
you will need to pay cash the amount in full) to reserve the charges payable by you depending on
the number of days of stay.

To take benefit of the special rate and availability of the room at the hotel, your reservation form
(attached) must be submitted to the hotel by December 28th. Beyond this date, SMSF is not able to
secure neither low rates nor vacant rooms at this hotel.

Please Note:
• The guaranteed Check-in is 2 pm, and Check-out time is 12 noon. Abhyasis arriving early and
want to check in will be charged extra. They are advised to book one night extra ensuring the
availability of a room on their arrival. Abhyaisis checking out late could be charged accordingly.
Please do not hold SMSF or hotel responsible for your early check in and late check out. You can
always make an understanding with the reception for the above.
• The hotel will accommodate abhyasis in rooms based on arrivals. So please be prepared to share
room with other abhyasis and pay more depending on the availability of a room-mate at the time,
and the gap in-between check-outs of room-mates, unless you have specifically asked for private
room.

• You might be assigned one queen size bed or two single beds per room based on the availability at
the time of your reservation. Kindly consider.
• One child under 12 years of age is permitted free of charge per room.
• There are no extra beds/mattress available at the hotel.
• Hotels have their own rules and regulations which we request you kindly to familiarize with. The
responsibility of the bookings of the rooms and the related arrangements including pick-up and
drop-off will be the individual‘s responsibility.
• Please note that both Citymax Hotels branches are located right by Metro stations. Members
arriving by flight can take Metro directly to the Hotel branch assigned to them. It is strongly
suggested that members avoid carrying heavy baggage. Trolley Bags will be useful.

For hotel reservation please fill up the form attached and send it directly to the hotel’s email
address provided on the form (make sure you put SMSF 170111 in the subject box of your email).

Transport & Currency Details


Metered taxis are available from the airport to the Hotel. In case you are taking a taxi from the
airport, kindly check at the counter the rate. These are govt. controlled therefore you will not be
cheated. Within the city also, all taxis are metered.
Always take care of your belongings as there have been some small bitter experiences by visitors.
Local currency is the UAE Dirham (AED) and the approx. exchange rate is AED 3.65 for One US
Dollar and one Euro is AED 5.787. Currency can be exchanged at counters in the Airport on arrival
or at local exchange houses near the hotel.
