W hen I was fourteen year old, I
walked into the local trading
stamp redemption center with great
purpose and confidence. I was carrying
twenty-eight completely filled books of
trading stamps, the exact number re-
quired to purchase what I wanted-a
brand-new fishing rod and reel. I proud-
ly walked up to the clerk and said, "Here
are twenty-eight books of trading stamps.
You can check every page if you'd like:' I

had licked each tamp my elf, and I knew
that thi was the required payment.
Buying the fishing rod and reel with
cash was not an option, because I didn't
have enough saved, but I wanted to ac-
quire the new pole honestly and justly. I
needed a good plan. I decided to invest
my time saving trading stamps and filling
up the books so that I would be able to
purchase what I wanted with them.
Before I walked into that redemption
center, the fishing pole belonged to the
trading stamp company. I paid the re-
quired price for it, and I joyfully watched
as the clerk retrieved it from the shelf and
handed it to me. Because the required
price had been paid in full, that new rod
and reel now belonged to me. I bought
it from the trading stamp company. My
plan of redemption had worked.
God also had a plan of redemption,
but His was for something much great-
er than a fishing rod and reel. His plan

was to purchase mankind back from Sa-
tan's power and authority, for at one time
mankind legally belonged to Satan. The
required price was high, for the payment
was the life of His only begotten Son,
Jesus Christ. Once the price was paid,
though, it became available for all of man-
kind who believed to legally belong to
God. Jesus Christ, man's redeemer, ful-
filled God's plan of redemption for all of
mankind.
Let's first look at how mankind came
to be under Satan's rulership. Our loving
heavenly Father originally gave man do-
minion over the earth. We can see this in
the first chapter of Genesis.
Genesis 1:26:
... let them [man] have dominion over the
fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the
air, and over the cattle, and over all the
earth ....
Not only had God given man the do-
minion over the earth, He also equipped
man to be able to successfully carry out
this responsibility. God's man was com-
plete in every way. He had a body that
God formed from the dust of the ground.
Man also had breath life, making him
a living soul. To complete the package,
God created spirit in man, giving him the
means by which he could communicate
with God, Who is Spirit.
Isaiah 43: 7:
Even everyone that is called by my name:
for I have created him for my glory, I have
formed him; yea, I have made him.
God formed, made, and created His
man to be a three-part being of body,
soul, and spirit.
Adam and Eve enjoyed wonderful fel-
lowship with God, and they were given
dominion and authority over the earth.
But something changed all that.
Genesis 3:1:
Now the serpent was more subtil than any
beast of the field which the Lord God had
made. And he said unto the woman, Yea,
hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every
tree of the garden?
The adversary's subtle craftiness
tricked Eve into not following God's
Word. She eventually enticed Adam to
sin. Because of Adam's disobedience to
God's Word, Adam forfeited his authori-
ty and dominion. He could have refused
Eve's offer; however, through freedom of
choice, he took his conferred rights-
the rulership, dominion, and authority
over this world-and transferred them
to God's archenemy.
In Luke 4, the Devil offered this power
to Jesus.
Luke 4:5 and 6:
And the devil, taking him (Jesus] up into
an high mountain, shewed unto him all
the kingdoms of the world in a moment
of time.
And the devil said unto him, All this power
will I give thee, and the glory of them: for
that is delivered unto me; and to whom-
soever I will I give it.
The Devil rightfully declared, "Allthis
power will I give thee, and the glory of
them: for that is delivered unto me ... ,"
because that power and glory had been
handed to him in man's fall due to Adam's
disobedience to God. Adam lost authori-
ty, dominion, and rulership. Both he and
Eve lost the spirit that God had created
in them, becoming just body-and-soul

individuals. They lost their connection
with God.
After dominion over the earth was
transferred to the adversary, mankind
legally belonged to Satan. We needed to
be redeemed from this captivity.
According to Ephesians 2, all mankind
is born into this world dead in trespass-
es and sins, having no hope, and without
God (verses 1 and 12). Our loving heav-
enly Father knew that we would be in
this terrible situation. He provided a bril-
liant plan by which mankind could be
redeemed from Satan's rulership. Jesus
Christ was God's plan for redemption.
Before we look at God's plan, let's look
at what redemption means. Redemption
means to be released by the payment of
a ransom. The ransom is the required
price to bring someone out of captivity.
The main idea of redemption is freedom
secured by payment of a price.
Being dead in trespasses and sins, man
needed release from captivity! The pay-
ment required to release mankind from
this state was God's only begotten Son.
I Peter 1:18 and 19:
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not
redeemed with corruptible things, as silver
and gold, from your vain conversation re-
ceived by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot.
God's plan of redemption included the
sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, "a lamb
without blemish and without spot:' To
understand the significance of our re-
demption by the precious blood of Christ,
let's briefly look at some background from

the Old Testament. The blood of animals
was shed to atone for the sins of the chil-
dren of Israel. Their sins were covered
with the sacrifice of an animal, such as a
young goat or a lamb without blemish.
For example, on the Day of Atonement,
the high priest of Israel entered into the
Holy of Holies to make sacrifices. He laid
his hands on the goat outside the Temple
and then sent it into the wilderness to die.
God had said that as surely as the Israel-
ites saw the goat go into the wilderness,
so certainly their sins went with it. This
animal sacrifice covered Israel's sins by a
yearly atonement. Other sacrifices and sin
offerings were made at different times ac-
cording to Old Testament law.
Another example is the sacrifice at the
first Passover. God had Moses instruct
the children of Israel about the sacrifi-
ciallamb.
Exodus 12:5 and 6:
Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male
of the first year: ye shall take it out from
the sheep, or from the goats:
... and the whole assembly of the congrega-
tion of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
This lamb was to be without blemish.
Jesus Christ met this qualification as the
final Passover lamb.
I Corinthians 5:7:
... For even Christ our passover is sacri-
ficed for us.
Jesus Christ was the perfect sacrificial
lamb-a lamb without blemish, a male of
the first year, taken out from among the
sheep. He was a man from among men,
a lamb from the flock. He had the poten-
tial to sin, yet he did not; he lived God's
Word perfectly. He was without blemish
and without spot.
The animal sacrifices of the Old Tes-
tament law were temporary substitutes
until God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who
was the complete and final sacrifice for all
sin. Jesus Christ sacrificed his life once for
all mankind and ended the yearly Pass-
over sacrifices referred to in Exodus. His
death was the complete atonement.
John the Baptist recognized that Jesus
Christ would be that complete atone-
ment.
John 1:29:
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto
him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God,
which taketh away the sin of the world.

Because (( Adams sin, mankind became
dead in trespasses and sins. It took a per-
fect, sinless human being to atone for that
sin a to make it possible for believers
to be reconciled to God. It took a perfect
human sacrifice to be the complete atone-
ment for you and for me and for all people
ever since his sacrifice.
God's plan of redemption was within
all legal boundaries, He purchased man-
kind back from Satan's captivity honest-
Iy and justly. He didn't steal or kidnap us
out from the adversary's grip. He paid for
our redemption with the precious blood
of His only begotten Son.
Redemption is to be released by the
payment of a ransom. The price that was
paid for our redemption was not with
money or trading stamps or any other
corruptible item. Only the precious blood
of Jesus Christ would pay the required
price for our redemption.
I Corinthians 6:19 and 20:
... know ye not that ... ye are not your
own?
For ye are bought with a price ....
In Jesus Christ Is Not God, Dr. Wierwille
wrote:
God accomplished seven things by His Son,
Jesus Christ, to bring about our redemp-
tion: (1) the birth of Jesus Christ; (2) his
sinless life; (3) the death ofJesus Christ on
the cross; (4) his resurrection three days and
three nights later; (5) his ministry follow-
ing the resurrection; (6) Christ's ascension;
and, finally, (7) the coming of holy spirit on
the day of Pentecost. Had anyone of these
parts not taken place, our lives would not
be totally redeemed.
By his freedom of will, Jesus Christ
fulfilled God's plan of redemption. There
was a ransom to be paid, and Jesus Christ
was the only one capable of paying it. He
fulfilled the law with his birth, life, death,
resurrection, resurrection appearances,
and then ascension to the right hand of
God; and the gift of holy spirit was sent
forth on the day of Pentecost. That ran-
sam was paid, and this redemption, deliv-
erance, liberation, and release from legal
ownership by the adversary is available

. Ephesians 1:7 comes from the root word
for all of mankind. That is a powerful
redemption!
Jesus Christ willingly gave himself as
a perfect, sinless sacrifice-a perfect re-
deemer. By offering himself as the sac-
rifice, he fulfilled the required payment
to purchase our freedom. All we have to
do is accept it by confessing Jesus as lord
and believing in our heart that God raised
him from the dead (Romans 10:9 and 10).
It cost us nothing, because it cost God His
dearest and best-the life of His only be-
gotten Son. Oh, the price He paid for you
and for me!
Paying the price entitles the owner to
legal rights. For instance, if I purchase
an automobile, then I become the owner.
Once I pay the required purchase price, I
receive the title for that vehicle. The title
tate yerr clearl . and in legal terms that
the automobile belongs to me. The previ-
ous owner can't come back to me a week
after I purchase the vehicle and say, "You
know, I've owned that automobile much
longer than you have. It really belongs to
me. I think I'll drive it back home now:'
If he were to try that, I would show him
the title and boldly claim what is right-
fully mine. This car now belongs to me. I
paid for it-it is mine.
Similarly, God has paid the required
purchase price for you and me; there-
fore, we belong to Him. No longer do we
legally belong to our previous owner, for
God has fully paid the price and bought
us back from Satan.
The Epistle of Ephesians, addressed to
all those born again of God's spirit and
faithfully living the truth, tells us plainly
what Jesus Christ has done for us.
Ephesians 1:7:
In whom [Jesus Christ] we have redemp-
tion through his blood, the forgiveness [re-
mission] of sins, according to the riches of
his grace.
The word translated "redemption" in
IUD in the Greek language. According
to Strong's concordance, one definition
of IUDis to loose. This word is used in
Mark 7:35 as Jesus the redeemer brings
freedom to a man that was in bondage:
And straightway his ears were opened, and
the string of his tongue was loosed [IuD],
and he spake plain.
This man had a speech impediment
and couldn't speak plainly. After Jesus
ministered to the man, the man's tongue
was loosed, and he spoke plainly.
In Acts, chapter 2, we find another oc-
currence of this Greek word IUD.It is used
in reference to the resurrection of Jesus
Christ.
Acts 2:24:
Whom God hath raised up, having loosed
[IUD]the pains of death: because it was not
possible that he should be holden of it.
God loosed the pains of death when
He raised His Son, Jesus Christ, from
the dead. That is powerful freedom from
bondage!
Ephesians tells us we have redemp-
tion through Jesus Christ's blood, the re-
mission of sins, according to the riches
of God's grace. Jesus Christ's shed blood,
meaning the giving of his life, was the
ransom that loosed us from the adver-
sary's grip. We have total release from all
captivity. At the time of the new birth,
our sins are not just covered-our sins are
completely washed away. We have com-
plete remission of all our sins and start
our walk in perfect fellowship with our
heavenly Father.
Jesus Christ was the perfect sacrifice.
His blood was shed for you and me, and
this precious price was paid to purchase
our freedom. We no longer belong to
the adversary. We are God's children, re-
deemed from the corruption and sin of
this world. We are redeemed from a life
of destruction, from a life of negatives,
frustrations, fears, and defeat.
At one time, mankind legally belonged
to Satan. Because of what our wonderful
lord and savior accomplished, we no lon-
ger live under Satan's rule. This section
of Romans from The New English Bible
gives a vivid summation of what we have
learned about our redemption.
Romans 5:12 [The New English Bible]:
Mark what follows. It was through one man
that sin entered the world, and through
sin death, and thus death pervaded the
whole human race, inasmuch as all men
have sinned.
The consequences to mankind result-
ing from Adam's fall were sin and death.
Without a redeemer, mankind would re-
main in this despair. But God's gracious
plan made His overflowing freedom and
release available for all of mankind.
Romans 5:15 [The New English Bible]:
But God's act of grace is out of all pro-
portion to Adam's wrongdoing. For if the
wrongdoing of that one man brought death
upon so many, its effect is vastly exceeded
by the grace of God and the gift that came
to so many by the grace of the one man,
Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ fulfilled God's brilliant
plan to purchase mankind back from
Satan. That is why he is our redeemer.
It is God's wonderful grace in giving the
life of His Son that paid the price for our

redemption. Being born again of God's
spirit, we no longer belong to the adver-
sary. We belong to God. Our redemption
gives us the right to reign in life, to rule.
By what Jesus Christ has accomplished,
we have life.
Romans 5:17 [The New English Bible]:
For if by the wrongdoing of that one man
death established its reign, through a single
sinner, much more shall those who receive

in far greater measure God's grace, and his
gift of righteousness, live and reign through
the one man, Jesus Christ.
Paying the required price to purchase

adversary? Our loving Father wanted us,
and He paid the ultimate, required price
to redeem us and set us free.
Even though mankind at one time be-
longed to Satan, God had a plan to release
us and make us free. Jesus Christ, man's
redeemer, fulfilled God's plan, making
redemption available for all of mankind.

The Word of God has integrity,
and believing it
produces what God promises.

T he Word of God has integrity! That's
a bold statement. How can I say
that? I can say that the Word of God has
integrity because I have looked into the
Word of God to help me understand this
great reality. I have believed it and seen
God's promises come to pass in my life.
When we understand and believe that the
Word of God has integrity, we are able
to take believing action on it and receive
God's promises.
I would like to invite you to look into
the Word with me and discover what the
Word says about its own integrity. Then
we will see how believing the integrity of
God's Word brings the promises of God
to pass. The greatest of God's works is
His Word; and when believed it produces
what God says.
The Word of God speaks for itself re-
garding its integrity. As we look into the

Word to develop an understanding of
integrity, we will see some occurrences
where the Word speaks of itself.
In Exodus 31 the Word declares that it
was "written with the finger of God:'
Exodus 31:18:
And he gave unto Moses, when he had
made an end of communing with him upon
mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables
of stone, written with the finger of God.
In ancient times it , as not unusual
for important truths and events to be en-
graved into tablets of stone. The word
"testimony" here refers to God's Word.
The phrase "with the finger of God" is a
figure of speech emphasizing God as the
Author of His Word.
Looking into the Book of Job we can
learn more about how important words
were preserved during this time.
Job 19:23 and 24:
Oh that my words were now written! oh
that they were printed in a book!
That they were graven with an iron pen
and lead in the rock for ever!
Job desired that his words should be
preserved. Iron, lead, and rock are long-
lasting substances that were used during
the time of lob to preserve words, saving
them in a complete and unbroken condi-
tion. Words were inscribed with "an iron
pen" into books; this iron pen would have

been a hard-pointed instrument. Some
books were made of soaked palm leaves,
and the writing was done with an iron
pen. Words written on palm leaves never
faded nor were eaten by worms.
Another mode of preservation used
during this time was cutting letters into
stone and pouring molten lead into them.
The lead poured into the rock preserved
the writing, permitting the words to re-
main for a very long time. From these
examples we see various ways that the in-
tegrity of the Word of God may have been
preserved so that we can be blessed with
its accuracy and integrity today.
In II Timothy 3:16 the Word describes
itself as the "God-breathed" Word.
II Timothy 3:16:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteous-
ness.
The word "All" refers to all scripture,
all without exception, from Genesis 1:1 to
Revelation 22:21. The five words "given by
inspiration of God" are actually one word
in the Greek. This word is theopneustos,
which literally means "God-breathed:'
We see again that God is the Author of
His Word; it is God-breathed. The fol-
lowing verse tells us why God gave this
God-breathed Word.

I II Timothy 3:17:
That the man of God may be perfect,
thro ugh ly furnished unto all good works.
The first word in II Timothy 3:17 is
"That:' indicating purpose. The purpose
of the Word of God is that "the man of
God may be perfect, throughly furnished
unto all good works:' Who is "the man of
God" in this verse? It's one who speaks
for God. Whenever we speak for God, we
!.' become His spokesperson. God's Word
says we are equipped to speak for Him;
we are throughly equipped unto good
works. What the Word says we are, we
are-because the Word is truthful; it's
God's Word.
The Word is truth. This is the testi-
mony that it gives of itself.
Psalms 119:142:
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righ-
teousness, and thy law is the truth.
"Thy law is the truth" means what it
says. The Word, "thy law:' is truth. He-
brews 6:18 states that it is impossible for
God to lie. The words of the Word are
steadfast and upright. They have integ-
rity because they are the words of God;
they are truth.
Jesus Christ is the living Word. As
God's Son, Jesus Christ had integrity. He
lived by the standard of his Father's Word,
which is truth.
John 14:6:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.
Jesus Christ said that he is the way, the
truth, and the life. He provides "the way"
to the Father. As the living Word of God,
Jesus Christ was "the truth" in everything
he did or said; he provides the way to "the
life" that is eternal. These three realities
denote completeness. What Jesus Christ
gave as the living Word of God is the way
to the truth and eternal life.
Another quality of integrity that the
Word reveals about itself is that it is faith-
ful.
Psalms 119:138:
Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded
are righteous and very faithful.
The word "faithful" relates to firmness,
to stability, to faithfulness in fulfilling
promises. But God's testimonies are not
just faithful. The Word itself says that
these testimonies are "very faithful:' We
can hold fast to the promises of God
because they are very faithful.
Titus 1:9:
Holding fast the faithful word as he hath
been taught, that he may be able by sound
doctrine both to exhort and to convince
the gainsayers.
The Greek word for "faithful" in this
verse means trusty. This adjective means
the Word can be relied upon; it is depend-
able and trustworthy. These are qualities
of the integrity of God's Word.
Also, the Word is pure, which is an-
other quality of its integrity.
Psalms 12:6:
The words of the Lord are pure words: as
silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified
seven times.
We can hold fast to the promises of God
because they are very faithful.
The words of the Word are pure
words-as pure as silver which has been
purged and refined from impurities seven
times. In the Bible, the number seven sig-
nifies spiritual perfection. Not only is this
Word pure, but it is spiritually pure!
Psalms 119:140:
Thy word is very pure: therefore thy ser-
vant loveth it.
The word "pure" relates to the process
of refining gold and silver to the point of
separating the pure metal from the dross
which forms on the surface of molten
metals. The Word states that it is "very
pure"- to the fullest degree. Therefore,
the original God-breathed Word is free
from any impurity.
The pure Word of God gives us light

Psalms 119:105:
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a
light unto my path.
A lamp or lantern gives light to our
path. The Word states of itself that it is a
lamp; it gives light to our path. In some
parts of the East, men walking over nar-

lamps around the ankle or hold lamps
in their hands. They would swing their
lamps in front of themselves to throw
light onto their path so that they could
see to walk safely. One step at a time, the
Word of God gives us spiritual light for
our path to move ahead safely. It illumi-
nates our steps; it imparts wisdom and
guidance. Where the Word is, there is
light.
We have seen that God's Word declares
its own integrity. It is God-breathed and
can be trusted as much as God Himself.
His Word is true, faithful, pure, and a
light for our path.
We will now see that whenever the
Word of God is believed, it will produce
what God says. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that
this Word of God is quick and power-
ful:
For the word of God is quick, and power-
ful, and sharper than any two edged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and in-
tents of the heart.
The Word declares that it is "quick:'
which means it is alive and vital; it is also
"powerful:' meaning it is energetic. This
verse also states that God's Word is "a
discerner:' meaning one skilled in judg-
ing. Because the Word has this forthright
standard of integrity, we believe what it
says. When we believe and act on what
it says, we receive the promises in God's
Word. To further examine this truth, let's
look at a practical example from my life
and then at a record from the Old Tes-
tament.

As the commander of the Syrian army,
Naaman was honorable and a mighty
man of valor. Naaman's first step in re-
ceiving his deliverance began when he
acted upon the words spoken by the lit-
tle maid.
II Kings 5:3 and 4:
And she said unto her mistress, Would
God my lord were with the prophet that
is in Samaria! for he would recover him
of his leprosy.
And one went in, and told his lord, say-
ing, Thus and thus said the maid that is
of the land of Israel.
He took action on what the little
maid said about the Prophet Elisha. The
words "Would God my lord were with the
prophet that is in Samaria! for he would
recover him of his leprosy" are a figure
of speech. This figure consists of a short
prayer. These words would ultimately in-
troduce Naaman to the one true God!
II Kings 5:5 and 6:
And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and
I will send a letter unto the king of Israel.
And he departed, and took with him ten
talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of
gold, and ten changes of raiment.
And he brought the letter to the king of
Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come
unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent
Naaman my servant to thee, that thou
mayest recover him of his leprosy.
The king of Syria wrote a letter to the
king of Israel on Naaman's behalf. Along
with this letter, Naaman took gifts of sil-
ver and gold and ten changes of raiment
to the king of Israel. At this time in histo-
ry, scarcely any transaction of importance
took place without giving a gift. Naaman
followed the Eastern custom of carrying
costly and beautiful gifts.
II Kings 5:7-9:
And it came to pass, when the king of Is-
rael had read the letter, that he rent his
clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to
make alive, that this man doth send unto
me to recover a man of his leprosy? where-
fore consider, I pray you, and see how he
seeketh a quarrel against me.
And it was so, when Elisha the man of God
had heard that the king of Israel had rent
his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying,
Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let
him come now to me, and he shall know
that there is a prophet in Israel.
So Naaman came with his horses and with
his chariot, and stood at the door of the
house of Elisha.
As was customary Naaman waited at
the outside gate, thinking that the Proph-
et Elisha would come out to see him.
II Kings 5:10 and 11:
And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, say-
ing, Go and wash in Jordan seven times,
and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and
thou shalt be clean.
But Naaman was wroth, and went away,
and said, Behold, I thought, He will sure-
ly come out to me, and stand, and call on
the name of the Lord his God, and strike
his hand over the place, and recover the
leper.
God's prophet, Elisha, spoke words
from God. He sent his messenger out to
speak these words to Naaman. Elisha's
sending a messenger with God's Word in-
stead of personally speaking it to Naaman
was perceived as an insult. Being a pagan,
Naaman was used to pagan rituals and
enchantments. Naamans perception of
what he thought should be happening
clouded his focus on the actual words spo-
ken to him by Elisha's messenger: words
of integrity given by God to Elisha.
These words from Elisha had integ-
rity; they were pure, they were true, and
they provided guidance to receive God's
promise to be clean. These words were
God's words with more truth than any
preconceived ideas that Naaman might
have had. But the direction to "Go and
wash in Jordan seven times" took Naa-
man by surprise.
II Kings 5:12 and 13:
Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Da-
mascus, better than all the waters of Israel?
may I not wash in them, and be clean? So
he turned and went away in a rage.
And his servants came near, and spake unto
him, and said, My father, if the prophet
had bid thee do some great thing, would-
est thou not have done it? how much rath-
er then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and
be clean?
Naaman did not like what Elisha'smes-
senger told him. He had a difficult time
believing he should wash in the muddy
Jordan. He knew the Jordan was a muddy
river; he thought he should be washing
in the beautiful rivers of Damascus. But

counsel from his servants prompted Naa-
man to more carefully reconsider the
prophet's words. As he considered and
believed those words, he arrived another
step closer to receiving God's promise and
his deliverance.
Naaman's final step to deliverance is
in II Kings 5:14. He listened to the wise
counsel of his servants and acted upon
what the Prophet Elisha said.
II Kings 5:14:
Then went he down, and dipped himself
seven times in Jordan, according to the say-
ing of the man of God: and his flesh came
again like unto the flesh of a little child,
and he was clean.
Naaman went back to the Jordan to
wash seven times. What was he thinking
each time he dipped? Was he expecting to
see results each time? By the seventh dip,
Naaman saw his flesh return to that of a
little child: soft, clean, and pure. Can you
imagine how excited and blessed Naa-
man must have been when he saw that he
was clean? Naaman humbled himself to
respond to the godly instruction he was
given. Therefore, he received deliverance,
and he was thankful to God.
II Kings 5:15:
And he returned to the man of God, he and
all his company, and came, and stood be-
fore him: and he said, Behold, now I know
that there is no God in all the earth, but
in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take
a blessing of thy servant.
Naaman appeared to no longer be
bound by high thoughts of his military
position or the rituals of idolatrous prac-

tices he once knew. He was healed! He be-
came meek to the one true God. Naaman
acknowledged the God of Elisha openly
in front of all of his company.
Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille, our minis-
try's Founding President, said: "Healing
is not dependent upon whether or not
you're a Christian, but whether or not
you believe." God's Word is truth; it is
quick and powerful. Naaman was moved
to action at the words spoken by the little
maid, by Elisha's messenger, and by his
own servants. Naaman believed and took
action on the words spoken by Elisha and
received his deliverance.
The Word of God has integrity, and
believing it produces what God prom-
ises. We can have the confidence to be-
lieve and receive from God because we
know that the Word of God is true, it is
faithful, it is pure, and it is a lamp and a
guide unto our path-we know the Word
of God has integrity. Taking believing
action upon the Word of God energizes
the power of God; believing the integri-
ty of God's Word brings the promises of
God to pass.
In II Kings 5 the words spoken by the
Prophet Elisha had integrity. Naaman
acted upon those words and believed for
his own healing: he received the result of
that quick and powerful Word of God.
Today we are the ones who act on and
believe the promises from God. Our God
is the same God Who Healed Naaman
thousands of years ago.
Today we have the Word of God writ-
ten down for us in a book. What a privi-
lege! Let's look into that book and find
the promises we desire. Let'sbelieve them
and act upon them to receive what God
says is available. It's that simple. Why?
Because God's Word has integrity! We
can believe it! ~

E ach year the small mountain town
of McCall, Idaho, hosts their Win-
ter Carnival, and one of the highlights i
the larger-than-life snow sculptures that
are proudly exhibited all around town.
However, the e frozen culpture don't
tart out as beautiful piece . They begin
as huge piles of now.
The artists begin forming their sculp-
ture , with the end result seen only in
their mind's eye. The basic shape begins
to emerge. Working in teams, they carve
away at the shape. Gradually some de-
tails appear: the sculptures are starting

to resemble the intended design. Even-
tually, the finer detail are culpted. And,
at long last, even the mo t minute detail
are carefully and deliberately carved from
what was once a mas ive pile of snow. The
finished piece is one they are proud to
how to townspeople and tourists alike.
These artists begin with their final
goal in mind, and diligently they fashion
this huge, shapeless pile of snow into a
beautiful, unique piece of art. Likewise,
as artists of our own lives, we can sculpt
ourselves into beautiful believing exam-
ples by diligently fashioning our lives
according to God's Word.
In I Timothy is a verse of scripture that
tells young people how to become an ex-
ample for others, and in the Old Testa-
ment is a record of a young man who
grew to become an example to others.
We'll look at both of these to see how we
can grow in shaping our lives with God's
Word.
I Timothy 4:12:
Let no man despise thy youth; but be [be-
come] thou an example of the believers, in
word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit,
in faith, in purity.
This verse was written to Timothy to
direct him as a young man, which in Bible
times was until thirty years of age. Today
this verse still provides great encourage-
ment and exhortation to young people on
how to become an example. Additional-
ly, all believers can learn from this verse
whatever their age, for if God expects a
young person to be an example, certainly
He would expect the same, if not more,
of those more mature.
The word "be" in this verse means "be-
come or come into a particular state or
condition." Becoming an example is a
growing process; it takes time of faith-
fully learning and applying God's Word.
"Example" is the Greek word tupos,
which in English is the word "type:' Thay-
ers Greek-English Lexicon of the New
Testament defines tupos in this verse as
"an example to be imitated:' "Be thou an
example of the believers" can be literally
translated "become thou [youth] a believ-
er's example:'
The exhortation ofI Timothy 4:l2lists
specific categories oflife in which a young
person is to become a believer's example.
Let's look briefly at each of these catego-
ries: word, conversation, charity, spirit,
faith, and purity.
First, "word" refers to the Word of God
we speak, which proceeds from that Word
that dwells in our heart. Next, "conver-
sation" refers to behavior, conduct, and
life, including the actions that life is made
up of. Then "charity:' the Greek word
agape, means the love of God in the re-
newed mind in manifestation. Another
way agape is defined is "love in its fullest
conceivable form ... the distinctive char-
acter of the Christian life in relation to
the brethren and to all:'
The next words in this verse are "in
spirit:' These can be deleted since they
are not in the majority of critical Greek
texts. Then "faith" means believing, or be-
lieving action. And, finally, "purity" is the
state of being lustrous, clean, pure from
every defilement.
Putting these categories together, we
see that youth can faithfully shape their
lives with God's Word to become believ-
ers' examples. Their words, thoughts, and

actions in life are to correspond with
God's Word. In relationships, with be-
lievers and with all people, young people
are to become examples in showing forth
the love of God, in believing action, and
in keeping themselves pure in this world.
Believers who are more mature can con-
tinue to grow in these areas as well.
With this understanding of I Timo-
thy 4:12,let's now see the Old Testament
example of Daniel as a young man, spe-
cifically focusing on how he became a
believing example by faithfully sculpting
his actions according to God's Word in
each of these areas of life.
Daniel was a Iudean believer, and as
he grew up in Judah, he would have been
taught the Old Testament law recorded
in the scrolls. When Daniel was a young
man, his country of Judah was besieged
by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. As
a result, Daniel and other Iudeans were
taken captive to the unbelieving and
idolatrous nation of Babylon. There he
was selected along with other able young
men to be trained for three years to be
put in a position to serve the king.
During this training, the king pro-
vided food for these young men, but
the meat had been offered in sacrifice
to idols, which was contrary to the Old
Testament law. Daniel had a decision to
make. Would he eat the meat anyway,
or refuse it? He decided to keep himself
pure from this defiled meat.
Daniel approached Melzar, "whom
the prince of the eunuchs had set over
Daniel" (Daniel l.Il). He asked Melzar
for "pulse:' or vegetable food, to avoid
the idol-tainted meat. Daniel's words pro-
ceeded from the thoughts of the Word
he held in his heart. Melzar agreed to
let Daniel and three other well-known
believers, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-
nego, try it, and after ten days, they ap-
peared healthier than those who had
eaten the king's food. Daniel's love for
God benefited himself and his fellow
Judean believers in this three-year train-
ing for the king.
Daniel was firmly persuaded in his
believing, and he became an example to
others by his behavior. Daniell:9 says that
God had brought Daniel into favor with
the ruler of the Babylonian eunuchs re-
sponsible for training these young men.
Let's see what the Bible says about Dan-
iel and his three friends at the end of the
three years.
Daniel1:l8 and 19:
Now at the end of the days that the king
had said he should bring them in, then the
prince of the eunuchs brought them in be-
fore Nebuchadnezzar.
And the king communed with them; and
among them all was found none like Daniel,
Hananiah [Shadrach], Mishael [Meshach],
and Azariah [Abednego]: therefore stood
they before the king.
Daniel 1:21shows that Daniel contin-
ued in office, serving with godly authori-
ty "unto the first year of king Cyrus:'
which would have been about seventy
more years. From this first chapter of the
Book of Daniel, we see that Daniel didn't
come upon his position of service in the
Babylonian kingdom simply by chance.
He lived according to God's Word ad-
dressed to his administration, the Old
Testament law. He faithfully sculpted his
life according to God's Word.
Though Daniel lived about twenty-five
hundred years ago, his believing exam-
ple has left an impression on me. Why?
Because of his heart's desire to faithfully
model his life after God's Word. Young
people can faithfully model their lives
after God's Word and become believers'
examples as well. And just as diligently
as the snow sculptors at the McCall Win-
ter Carnival fashion those huge piles of
snow into beautiful snow sculptures, so
can each one of us, whether young or
more mature, sculpt our lives into beauti-
ful believing examples. In word, behavior,
love, believing, and purity, let us become
believing examples to others of living
God's Word in our day and time. ~

Biblical Truths We Must Adhere To:
Get "To Whom" Correct-Administrations

I nthe articles in this series, we have
been considering how the Scripture
interprets itself: in the verse, in the con-
text, or used before. Along with keeping
these very important Biblical research
keys in mind as workmen of the Word,
we will now begin to look at the Bibli-
cal research principles which pertain to
Biblical truths we must adhere to. In the
foundational class on The Way of Abun-
dance and Power we learn three Biblical
truths we must adhere to as workmen of
the Word:
l. Get "to whom" correct-administra-
tions.
2. Difficult verse must be understood in
light of the clear verses.
3. Interpretation and application are
always with respect to whom it is ad-
dressed.
We will focus on the first Biblicaltruth
listed: Get "to whom" correct -admin-
istrations. "All scripture is given by in-
spiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
[which is] instruction in righteousness"
(II Timothy 3:16). But not all of God's
Word is directly addressed to us in this
day and time. Understanding to whom a
scripture is written helps us to rightly di-
vide God's Word. As part of understand-
ing to whom the Word of God is written,
a person must accurately recognize the
administrations in the Bible.
In the Bible there are seven admin-
istrations' which are periods of time in
God's historical and spiritual timetable
governed by certain policies and spiritu-

al truths. We must understand that these
policies and truths may change in the
various time periods, so having a knowl-
edge of these seven administrations helps
us to resolve apparent contradictions in
the Bible. It also helps us in our under-
standing of what part of the Bible is di-
rectly addressed to us in our day and time
so that we can put it into application and
benefit from it in our lives.
The first administration, Original Para-
dise' started to be put into operation in
Genesis 1:3 and ended in Genesis 3:24.
Within this administration there were
certain policies and spiritual truths that
pertained to Adam and Eve, such as their
having dominion over all the fish of the
sea and fowl of the air, as Genesis 1:28
says:
And God blessed them, and God said unto
them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replen-
ish the earth, and subdue it: and have do-
minion over the fish of the sea, and over
the fowl of the air, and over every living
thing that moveth upon the earth.
Also in this administration, before the
fall of man, there was no sickness, sorrow,
or death. After Adam and Eve were driv-
en out ofthe garden of Eden, this Origi-
nal Paradise Administration ended.
Genesis 3:24:
So he [God] drove out the man; and he
placed at the east of the garden of Eden
Cherubims, and a flaming sword which
turned every way, to keep the way of the
tree of life.
The second administration, or Patri-
archal' began at this time and was the ad-
ministration of all the patriarchs, such as
Noah, Abraham, and Isaac. In this Patri-
archal Administration believers adhered
to unwritten laws and precepts oflife that
were communicated to them via God's
spirit upon the prophets as well as through
the Word written in the stars. This time
period lasted until the law of Moses.
The third administration was the Law
Administration, and it began when Moses
went up to Mount Sinai and God gave
him the initial ten commandments.
Exodus 24:12:
And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up
to me into the mount, and be there: and
I will give thee tables of stone, and a law,
and commandments which I have written;
that thou mayest teach them.
These commandments were the basis
for the policies and spiritual truths of the
Law Administration. Later in this admin-
istration other revelation was given, such
as is written in Exodus, Leviticus, Num-
bers, and Deuteronomy, so that other as-
pects of the law were filled out in detail.
John the Baptist was the last prophet of
the Law Administration, and this admin-
istration ended when Jesus Christ began
his earthly ministry following his bap-
tism by John.
Luke 3:21 and 22:
Now when all the people were baptized, it
came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized,
and praying, the heaven was opened,
And the Holy Ghost [holy spirit] descend-
ed in a bodily shape like a dove upon him,
and a voice came from heaven, which said,
Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am
well pleased.
The fourth administration, Christ, or
Gospel, differs from the Law Adminis-
tration in that Jesus Christ was person-
ally on earth to keep and fulfill the law
so that preparations could be made for
the fifth administration. In the Gospel
period, Jesus Christ reduced the approxi-
mately nine hundred laws of the Old Tes-
tament down to two, and he fulfilled the
law. This fourth administration ended on
the day of Pentecost.
 Today, you and I live in the fifth ad-
ministration-the Church, or Grace, Ad-
ministration. It began on the day of Pente-
cost. The seven Church Epistles (Romans
through Thessalonians) are specifically
and directly addressed to the Church of
the Body. These Epistles contain the doc-
trine, reproof, and correction that make
up the policies and spiritual truths of this
Grace Administration, which you and I
apply in our lives. This Grace Adminis-
tration will end with Christ's return for
his saints, the gathering together.
I Thessalonians 4:16 and 17:
For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall
be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and
so shall we ever be with the Lord.
During the sixth administration, Ap-
pearing, or Revelation, Christ will come
back to earth with his saints. The Church
of the Body will have been judged for re-
wards, and the "great white throne" judg-
ment of Revelation 20 will take place for
all those except the Church of the Body.
The sixth administration will end when
Satan and death are destroyed.
I Corinthians 15:26:
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is
death.
BIBLICAL RESEARCH PRINCIPLES
All Scripture interprets itself:
1. In the verse:
a. Right where it is written.
b. A word or words must be interpreted
according to Biblical usage.
c. The words must be in harmony with
the verse as well as with all the
scriptures relating to the subject.
d. Scripture build-up; narrative
development.

Biblical truths we must adhere to as
workmen:
1. Get "to whom" correct-administrations.
This brings us to the seventh and final
administration. The Original Paradise
Administration that terminated in Gene-
sis 3:24 takes up again in Revelation 21 for
the Final Paradise, or Glory, Administra-
tion. There shall be a new heaven and a
new earth wherein dwells righteousness
and where once again there will be no
more sickness, no more sorrow, and no
more death.
Revelation 21:1 and 4:
And I saw a new heaven and a new
earth: for the first heaven and the first
earth were passed away; and there was
no more sea.
And God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes; and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall
there be any more pain: for the former
things are passed away.
This administration will be in place
for all eternity, "... and so shall we ever
be with the Lord:' What a joy to realize
and anticipate this great reality.
A right dividing of God's Word in-
cludes understanding to whom scripture
is addressed in light of the seven admin-
istrations. For an example of scripture
written during the Law Administration,
we can go to Deuteronomy.
Deuteronomy 28:15:
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not
hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God,
to observe to do all his commandments
and his statutes which I command thee
this day; that all these curses shall come
upon thee, and overtake thee.
This verse is part of the Old Testa-
ment law and is therefore addressed to
the Judeans, to Israel living in the Law
Administration. In the remaining verses
of Deuteronomy 28, we see the conse-
quences of not hearkening to the com-
mandments and statutes of God. In the
Law Administration Israel was directed
to observe to do all the law.
Let's look at a verse regarding the law
that was written during our present Ad-
ministration of Grace.
Galatians 3:13:
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of
the law, being made a curse for us: for it

is written, Cursed is everyone that hang-
eth on a tree.
Galatians is written to the born-again
believers living in the Grace Administra-
tion. This verse is addressed to us today
and states that we are redeemed or bought
back from the curse of the law. The con-
sequences of Deuteronomy 28 written
during the Law Administration shall not
come upon us or overtake us living in
the Grace Administration, because our
administration operates under changed
policies and spiritual truths. Certainly
this is a comforting reality. By knowing
who is being addressed and in what ad-
ministration, we recognize there is no
contradiction in God's Word between
Deuteronomy 28:15 and Galatians 3:13.
Is there learning available to us from
the scriptures in other administrations?
Yes,most certainly; but the Word of God
we are to hearken to in particular is the
Word that is addressed directly to us. As
part of understanding to whom the Word
of God is written, we see that we must ac-
curately recognize the administrations.
This allows us to avoid thinking errone-
ously, such as, that we too are under the
curse of the law.
In Biblical research there are Bibli-
cal truths we must adhere to, and one
of these important truths is to get "to
whom" the Word is addressed correct in
light of administrations. Apparent con-
tradictions and error can be avoided by
rightly dividing under which administra-
tion a scripture is addressed.
II Timothy 2:15:
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
To be approved as a workman of the
Word we need to rightly divide the scrip-
tures. When we look to see to whom a
particular scripture is addressed, we must
also see which administration governs
the policies or spiritual truths. We have
the privilege to properly apply the appro-
priate Biblical truths we must adhere to
in our research of God's Word. As we do,
we will accurately unlock the treasures of
truth in God's matchless Word.

ADVANCED CLASS SPECIAL 2006-
THE RENEWED MIND: THE KEY TO POWER
O n November 24-26,2006,
eight hundred Advanced Class
graduates gathered at The Way Interna-
over
tional Headquarters to build their un-
derstanding of the renewed mind at Ad-
vanced Class Special 2006.
These serious Biblical students trav-
eled in from forty-two states and the Dis-
trict of Columbia in the United States
and from twelve International Outreach
countries to attend the Special, hosted
by the Board of Directors. Upon their
arrival, the students received a welcome
letter from Rev. Rosalie F.Rivenbark, the
President of The Way International, ex-
pressing her believing expectations for
them: "May this November Advanced
Class Special be a power-packed time of
renewed growth, commitment, and bless-
ing for you:'
The students joyfully focused on the
theme "The Renewed Mind: The Key to
Power:' These disciples shared a hunger
to learn more about the practical aspects
of the renewed mind, and their expecta-
tions were met abundantly. One partici-
pant shares, "The teachings have been
wonderful in their practicality, impress-
ing upon us the importance ofloving the
Word, holding it in mind, and acting ac-
cordingly:' Another comments, "It was a
good time! The purity of the Word and
the love with which it was presented has
helped me improve the quality of my
thinking. I came to the event with meek-
ness to receive, and I received more than
I anticipated. The testimony to this will

be the change in the quality of my life:'
On Friday evening, after the guests
had registered, the weekend took off with
the opening Household Session in the
Victor Paul Wierwille Prevailing Word
Auditorium. A Word-filled Way Produc-
tions concert opened the event, followed
by a teaching from Rev. Steve Longley,
who answered the question, why renew
the mind? From the Scriptures, students
saw that renewing the mind is man's only
logical response out of thankfulness to
God for all He has done to bless His peo-
ple and supply their every need.
The powerful teachings continued on
Saturday and Sunday, morning and eve-
ning, as Rev. Tom Mullins, Rev. Harve
Platig, Rev. Joe Coulter, and Mrs. David
Chavoustie, Patsy,joined Rev. Longley to
further expound on the renewed mind.
Rev.Mullins coordinates the Mid-America
Region, and Rev. Platig coordinates the
Ohio Valley Region. Rev. Longley and
Rev. Coulter serve on the President's
Cabinet at Headquarters, and Mrs. Cha-
voustie serves in the Way Publications
Department at Headquarters.
Some of the topics covered were essen-
tial how-tos of the renewed mind, ways
to enlarge and strengthen the mind, how
to manifest our release from mental pris-
ons, the benefits of the renewed mind,
keys to help overcome concerns about
the future, five activities to help us renew
the mind and eliminate pressure, the re-
newed mind and health, the renewed
mind at home, renewed-mind relation-
ships, and the renewed mind in light of
jobs and our finances.
Rev. Rivenbark shares about the Spe-
cial, "We took slices of life that our peo-
ple are involved in and painted a picture
from the Word of how it could be accord-
ing to the Word in those areas oflife. As
each teacher taught, people got a beauti-
ful image of what renewed-mind living
is all about:'
Advanced Class Special 2006 not only
provided a time to receive invaluable
teaching, it also included sweet fellow-
ship-breaking bread together and shar-
ing the Word with one another. Guests
were invited by the Board of Directors to
attend two special meals: a dinner or sup-
per on Saturday and a dinner or supper
on Sunday in the Outreach Services Cen-
ter Dining Room. During these meals,
they enjoyed fellowship with one another
as well as a sharing by a Director.
These disciples also met in "share pairs"
on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. For
these times they received assignments to
look up occurrences of specific words in
the Book of Proverbs relating to the re-
newed mind, utilizing a Youngs Analytical
Concordance to the Bible. They also dis-
cussed practical aspects of the renewed
mind with each other.
One couple shares the impact of this:
"The afternoon share pairs were exhila-
rating. We want to continue working the
uses of 'heart; 'mouth; 'lips; and 'tongue'
from the Book of Proverbs. One particu-
lar verse that really blessed our group was
 Proverbs 18:21: 'Death and life are in the
power of the tongue: and they that love
it shall eat the fruit thereof.' We thought
how Jesus Christ loved the power of the
spoken Word, and it brought life to all
those that heard his words. How his heart
rejoiced when he saw the fruit manifested
in people's lives. We can walk in his steps
and bring deliverance to many and enjoy
the fruit thereof:'
On Sunday afternoon, international
participants gathered to view a histori-
cal video in the Founders Hall Resourc-
+ es Room. The video demonstrated the
renewed-mind believing it took to build
I our ministry from the start.
The closing Household Session includ-
ed a time of sharing with the Board ofDi-
rectors and premiered a video slide show,
"Camp Gunnison-The Way Household
Ranch: Reaching New Heights, Setting
New Sights in 2007-2008:' This presen-
tation, narrated by Rev.Rivenbark, shows
the breathtaking beauty and some of the
history of the Gunnison Valleyand Camp
Gunnison-The Way Household Ranch.
The video then unfolds the exciting an-
nouncement of new golden opportuni-
ties at the camp for classes, special events,
leadership conferences, and vacations for
the 2007-2008 ministry year.
After the slide show, Rev.lean-YvesDe
Lisle, Secretary-Treasurer, Minister of Fi-
nance and International Operations, and
Rev. Roger Mittler, Vice President, Min-
ister of Facilities, shared that believers of
all ages would enjoy the many and var-
ied activities available-hiking, fishing,
golfing, and shopping, to name a few-
but best of all would be the opportunity
to soak in the riches of God's Word and
the beautiful and peaceful surroundings
of The Way Household Ranch.
Next, Rev. John Rupp, Vice Presi-
dent, Minister of U.S.A. Operations,
announced the ordination of two men
as ministers in the household of The
Way-Rev. Dan Davis, who coordinates
the North Atlantic Region with his wife,
Dee, and Rev. Gary Livedalen, who co-
ordinates the Blue Ridge Region with his
wife, Valerie. Rev. Rupp noted concern-
ing these ordinations that took place on
aturday, "God's ordination requires the
highest levels of commitment and ser-

glish will be recorded during the 2007-
2008 ministry year. A new syllabus
will be produced also.

the 64th Anniversary Sunday Teach-
ing Service was included in the No-

Rosalie F. Rivenbark, President of The
Way International, enjoyed this moun-
taintop anniversary at Camp Gunnison.
Rev. Vince McFadden, Vice President,
Minister of Camp Gunnison-The Way
Household Ranch, and his wife, Brenda,
hosted Rev. Rivenbark as she visited the
Staff and in-residence Way Corps.
How did The Way International ac-
quire such an outstanding location
designed for learning, healing, and
growth?
During the thirty-fourth anniversary
of The Way International, Dr. and Mrs.
Victor Paul Wierwille were on an itin-
erary and were believing to find a camp
area for The Way Ministry. They had spe-
cific criteria for the camp. It needed to be

pel specifically emphasizes one of them.

"From the first days of his ministry,
Jesus Christ was redeeming the time,
speaking the Word to individuals, wit-
nessing, giving, blessing, serving, and
manifesting power. Right in the early days
of his ministry he was leaving us steps to
walk in. We can speak the Word to indi-
viduals, and we can team up with oth-
ers; and by combining our long suits, we
can move the Word together with them.
We too can redeem the time, manifest-
ing God's power and leading people to
believe on the Lord Jesus Christ."

Dear Board of Directors:
Thank you for the believing and love
put into the new Foundational Class. I
think the verse that most accurately re-
flects my thoughts on the class as a whole
is Psalms 16:11: "Thou wilt shew me the
path of life: in thy presence is fulness of
joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures
for evermore:'
The class, with outstanding clarity and
focused simplicity, presents foundation-
al principles from the Word of God that
are understandable and applicable. There
is a clear path of life charted for all who
choose to believe. I am excited for every
person the class will reach, knowing the
deliverance they will experience in their
lives.

The Foundational Class brought great
joy to my heart and tears to my eyes! It is
a magnificent presentation of truth that
will bless the ministry for many years.
The heart and tenderness with which it is
presented complements the clear founda-
tional truths in each session. When they
complete the class, people will know who
they are and what they have in Christ,
and how to rightly divide the Word of
God.
Having several teachers sure adds va-
riety to the class, and each teacher was
well-suited for the sessions they taught.
Each session stuck to the foundational
topics and flowed logically from point
to point so that it was very easy to fol-
low and understand. I am very grateful
for the loving labor put forth by everyone

The three- teacher format added va-
riety and freshness. The illustrations
and incidents were well constructed and
heartfully shared. The class is very easy to
be entreated and has an overall tender-
ness. It reminds us of the statement in
Romans 2:4, that it is the goodness of
God that leads to repentance. The class
radiates the goodness of God and invites
people to consider God's Word and thus
His will.
This new class will be a blessing to
those with hungry hearts seeking to
know God and His Word, as well as a
further blessing to faithful followers of
