E: symbol for protection against explosion according to ATEX standards.
II: devices of group II are permissible for use in environments outside mining.
2: Category 2 means adaption to zone 1 of explosiveness. These are locations where explosive atmospheres can occur
regularly; this means 10-1000 h per year. These are e.g. filling stations, environments of tanker or working pits for motor-
cars.

Ex: with permission for use in surroundings with explosive atmosphere.
ib: class of protection. ib = intrinsically safe. The circuits of the lamp will neither in regular function nor in case of failure
produce any sparks that can ignite an explosive atmosphere.
IIC: The lamp has permission for explosives class IIC and may be used, when gases of this class are present, e.g.
hydrogen, vapours of fuel or acetylene.

KSE-LIGHTS-Holder KS-5525 and KS-5526
New: Now With Improved Lamp Adaptor

Forehead tape KS-5525 for all lamp models

With the forehead tape KS-5525 all lamps can be carried easily on the head wherever a helmet is not needed. The forehaed tape
is provided with an additional central tape that runs over the head and ensures a safe fix. The double adjustability allows a fit on
nearly all head sizes.
The helmet ribbon KS-5526 is made from the forehead tape and four additional polymer hooks. With the helmet ribbon KSE-LIGHTS
lamps can be carried centrally on nearly all helmets, where a durable fix of lamp holders is not possible. The adjustability of the hooks
guarantees an optimized fitting of the helmet ribbon. The hooks can easily be removed, when the helmet ribbon is used as a forehead
tape. They are very flexible, so that the helmet ribbon can safely be mounted on helmets with thick shells, e.g. on military helmets.

KSE-LIGHTS-Lampholder KS-5528

Lampholder KS-5528 The lamp will not fall out. KS-5528 mounted on a wall

The lampholder is made from glass fibre reinforced nylon. It has two slides for the metal clamp of the lamp and a safety
clip, that prevents the lamp falling out.
To pull the lamp out of the holder, the safety clip must be pressed down at first. The lamp can not be taken out before this
is done. The holder will keep its shape to at least 200 °C.
The lampholder can fixed easily with four little screws on nearly every helmet.
We recommend that check you with the producer of the helmet in advance if the fix of the screw-type holder is possible.
The holder is also well suited to fix a lamp either in a car or on wall.

Aluminium Holder 1015

Aluminium holder with fixation rivets Aluminium holder on a miner‘s helmet Aluminium holder on workers helmet

The aluminium lamp holder is used in mines to fix lamps on the helmet.
The fitting on the helmet will not build conductive connection into the interior of the helmet.
Please check with the producer of the helmet in advance to ensure that the the fixing of the aluminium holder is possible.
The use of the aluminium holder is possible on all Schuberth industrial safety helmets.
The approval for the helmets will not be invalidated!

Tips for use

- For fixing drill two holes of 4 mm into the helmet. Insert the rivet with white back from the inside of the
helmet and connect it with the opposite rivet from the side of the holder.
- Please take care that the opposite rivet will not block the way for the lampholder.

Fall-out protection KS-2150 for Mining Helmets

Fall-out protection KS-2150 KS-2150 opened with regular holder Lamp secured at miners helmet

The fall-out protection KS-2150 is an addition to the regular lamp holder. It was developed to prevent lamps from falling off
the aluminium socket on worker‘s helmets. The fall-out protection KS-2150 is be mounted together with the regular holder
of the lamp. The holder ist shifted into the clip of the helmet and the fall-out protection is folded down. Now the lamp will
not fall off the helmet unintentionally.
The fall-out protection KS-2150 is suited to all KSE-LIGHTS lamp models and chargers.

Reverse Holder KS-2160 for Mining Helmets

The reverse holder KS-2160 was developed especially for use of KSE-LIGHTS lamps in mines with low height, where a high
risk of colliding of lamps with the roofs of tunnels or with pillars is present.
The regular lampholder will be exchanged with the reverse holder. Power switch and charging jack are then placed securely
on the lower side of the lamp. Switching the lamp on and off will be as convenient as before.

Of course, it is possible to use both systems together.

Lateral Lamp Holder KS-4000

KSE-LIGHTS holder KS-4000 Examples for the use of KSE-LIGHTS Holder KS-4000

The new lateral lamp holder was developed in accordance with the standards of the new norm EN-443:2008 for Firefighters‘
helmets. The lampholder is made from glass fibre reinforced nylon. Thus the holder is very lightweight, very sturdy and not
inflammable. With a spherical joint and the variable lamp holder, the lamp can be adjusted in all directions.
By means of the new adapter the lamp engages and can no longer get lost unintentionally.
The lateral holder can be used with all KSE-LIGHTS helmet lamps.

An application for the approval of the lateral holder for the use with Firefighters‘
helmets made by Schuberth is awaited.

Clip holder KS-5630

With the clip holder all KSE-LIGHTS lamps can be fixed on jackets or belts.

Long Safety Cord KS-5050

Safety cord with snap link and loop Loop and snap link are connected, thus the Safety cord for securing of lamp
safety cord is usable as neck band and helmet

The safety cord is a standard accessory with each lamp delivery. With the safety cord the lamp can be carried around
the neck very comfortably. In addition, in mining areas helmet and lamp can be protected with the safety cord when
working in shafts. For this purpose the snap link can be fixed on the belt. The safety cord is 130 cm long.

Neck Band KS-5020 and Short Safety Cord KS-5040

With the short safety cord KS-5040 the lamp can be protected on a miners helmet.
The short safety cord has a safety relief also.
Also available is a neck band KS-5020, which is equipped with two small snap links.

Lateral holder KS-5660 Holder KS-5660 will be screwed on at the side The holder can be adjusted vertically

The steel holder KS-5660 can be screwed laterally on nearly all helmets.
The holder is vertically adjustable. In combination with the adjustable lamp clip the work space can be illuminated very flexibly. The
low weight of holder and lamp assure a very comfortable fit.

UK Adaptor KS-5620
The adapter KS-5620 fulfills the requirements of the new European standard EN 443:2008
for Firefighters‘ helmets.
The UK adaptor allows mounting of KSE-LIGHTS helmet lamps on nearly all standard UK-holders.

The lamp can be inserted horizontally or vertically into the adaptor as can be seen in the two left pictures.
With the joint of the lamp holder the work space can easily be illuminated perfectly.

Tips for mounting

- As a rule, the adaptor fits firmly into the mounting. In adition it can be fixed with a screw or with adhesive.
- If the lamp is too loose in the adaptor, the metal clamp of the lamp can be bent a little so that the lamp can be fixed as
necessary
- The hole in the side allows a direct fix of the adaptor with a screw if this is needed.
