Lesson: PRIDE

By President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

2010 General Conference, pg. 55-58

MESSAGE:
Humility is the Opposite of Pride
When our hearts are full of Charity – we have no room for Pride
We are all on the Same Team. God’s Children wear the same Jersey – our team is the brotherhood
of man (and women – all people)

BEFORE THE LESSON:

If you can, Have everyone come to FHE with a Jersey on – from any team or sport!
(If it’s good weather you could do this lesson on a court or in the backyard and then afterwards play a sport together)

DISCUSSION:
See Pages Below and follow the outline from the talk

HANDOUT:
Give everyone in the family a jersey to remind them we are all on the same team! God’s Team!

Pres. Utchdorf began his talk by saying,

“Pres. Benson spoke on “BEWARE OF PRIDE” in 1989. The promptings

of the Holy Spirit have urged me to add my voice as another witness
to President Benson’s message.”
