Dear Friends,
Welcome to this, the first edition, of
our new-look monthly magazine -
‘MERGING’. The new title is in itself very
significant - to me, if we could all
rediscover what it means to merge and
bond, then the world would be a very
different place!
The way I see it is that many of us
have come to believe that we are
separate. Underneath everything, we see
ourselves locked in a bubble, floating
through space and time. We are looking
out through the bubble at what is around
us, out there. We try to contact and
communicate with what is out there, but
we find it difficult. We don’t seem to get
the response that we want. We are
ignored, we are not taken seriously. We
can float through a day without any real
connection. The more we feel this way,
then the more fearful and anxious we
become. It is very difficult to manage in a
universe of separation. The way I have
come to grips with this fear and anxiety is
to understand that the belief in separation
is an illusion. It is simply not true. The
reality is that I live in a universe that is
interconnected - everything is part of
everything. There is absolutely no
separation. Separation is absolutely
impossible. We are all inter-dependent
and absolutely everything is related in one
way or another. I have built up over the
years many habits and thought patterns

which come from my belief in separation.
All those thought patterns vibrate with
some element of fear and anxiety.
So, also, in my life I have had many
experiences of feeling connected: with my
friends, my family, with nature, with music
and with many other things. I also know
that when I have had that experience of
connectedness there has been no fear
and no anxiety. Confidence in myself and
in the universe has flowed freely and
beautifully. My heart has been filled with
peace and happiness. This month

Dear Cathy,
You might remember me I hope: my
name is Anna and I called you a month or so
ago with a career crisis! I was desperately
unhappy in my job even though it was
something I thought I had always wanted,
but now had realized that it wasn’t and
wanted to leave and write for a living.
You’ll be pleased to hear that I have two
weeks left in this job and I Am leaving to
concentrate more on my writing. I’ve
structured it so that I have two days a week
working from home as a freelance writer and
editor where I can also write my articles,
novels and odysseys! I have a steady part
time job for the other three days to pay the
rent and the bills and though it means I
won’t know exactly how much comes in per
month, I will survive and won’t starve!!!

given me no end of support. I have wanted
to write for quite some time now, because I
want to publicly vouch for the authenticity of

When I moved house three years ago, I
was, as I had been most of my adult life, a
man of low-esteem, riddled with

Love at First Sight
Cupid’s arrow, or imagination?

In ages gone by, the idea of ‘love at first sight’ was
certainly not a strange one. In times when fraternisation
and friendship between men and women may have been
more limited, courtship before marriage more brief, and
the average marrying age much younger, the romantic
phenomenon of ‘love at first sight’ was a great deal more
common.
However, modern sensibilities have given way to a much
longer term view of love. Many of us may date for
months before we have even established some kind of
clear commitment, much less marriage. Most of us
expect to have at least a couple of relationships before
we find the person we wish to settle down with.Yet,
modern sensibilities aside, I have found in the course of
my career as a psychic over the last 10 years that I have
had many readings with clients who have fallen in love
very quickly and very deeply in a very short space of
time. It may not exactly be ‘love at first sight’ but it
certainly doesn’t conform to the idea that you have to
get to know someone first before you know whether
you love them.
What is Love?
Part of the problem we have with the idea of ‘love at first
sight’ is the very word itself – love. I have always found it
such an inadequate word to describe so many variations
of feelings and sentiments. Clearly, the love you feel at the
initial stage of a relationship is completely different than
the love you feel after 20 years of marriage, or the love
you feel for a family member. Love is not a static
emotion. It is dynamic - constantly changing and evolving.
A deep connection
Personally, when I talk to clients about ‘love at first sight’ I
like to use the phrase ‘ a deep connection.’ ‘Love at first
sight’ has the connotation that you have found ‘the one’ -
the person you are meant to be with for the rest of your

life. Clearly, it is very difficult to make this kind of
judgement at a stage in relationship when you don’t even
know the person. However, that does not mean the deep
feelings you have are invalid or some flight of romantic
fancy. Instead, a ‘deep connection’ reflects the idea that
you can intuitively feel something about a person and
who they are, which goes beyond the rational, linear
process of ‘finding out’ about a person.
This kind of connection can be instantaneous, deep and
very real. It often takes an almost physical form – a
tingling up the spine of wanting to be physically close.
Sometimes you may have a sense of what the other
person is going to say or how they might react to
something. It can happen in a romantic sense or
sometimes in non-romantic friendships. Whatever the
situation, a ‘deep connection’ reflects a feeling of
knowingness about another person that inspires a feeling
of love and affection.
Connection versus projection
At this point, it is very important to discern the
difference between connection and projection. I have had
many clients who are searching for love. They have been
searching for so long for the kind of guy or girl that fits a
certain criteria or image of the person they feel would be
‘right’ for them. When the person comes along who
‘ticks’ all the right boxes, it is easy to project a feeling of
connection onto the other person, which is really coming
from you and not from them. You may think ‘we are so
right together’ or ‘this is the man I have been waiting for.’
Yet, a deep connection, at its heart, is always mutual. This
doesn’t mean that the other person may express this
sense of connection as deeply or clearly as you.
Sometimes circumstances or upbringing may mean the
person is not able to articulate this feeling as easily.Yet,
you have to really be honest with yourself, and ask ‘Am I
really seeing who this other person is, or am I seeing
what I want to see because they fit my ideal?’

Deep connection as a first step…

It’s important to recognise that a ‘deep connection’ is

only the first step on an emotional journey. Deep
connection does not necessarily imply compatibility of
circumstance or personality. This is something that only
good, hard work can reveal. It may be that a ‘deep
connection’ serves as a catalyst for some new direction
in your life rather than it being a person who ‘you are
meant to be with.’

If there is a genuinely deep connection between you and

another person, then this should certainly be cherished
and nourished. This is not something that comes along
every day, and wherever it is meant to lead to, should
never be discarded lightly or dismissed as ‘silliness.’

Some dreams may appear to be simple
processing of the day’s events and yet when
one looks deeper, layers upon layers of
personal and collective significance can be
found.

Dear Kim
I dreamt I was in a town looking for a birthday present for
someone. Couldn’t find what I was looking for, despite looking
in quite a few shops. Wandering round near closing time,
wondering where the heck to get them.Walked past a
butcher’s shop and had to take a second look because there
in the shop was a live rabbit, waiting to have the chop the
next day.
I thought about it and then realised I couldn’t leave it to that
fate, having seen it and looked into its eyes. So I broke in and
told the rabbit to follow me, which it did. It was a very large
rabbit, but not a hare, and not a soft fluffy pet rabbit - more
like a body building type rabbit; muscular and big built! It sat
in the foot-well of the car and came with me.
The next part of my dream was also in the town, I remember
seeing a man on the other side of the street, and there was
like a smoke coming out of his mouth, and heading for me. I
went into a shop to escape it but felt like it was following me.
And part 3 – My husband is with me in this bit.We were
driving about and needed to get something charged up - like
a mobile or something, and came across someone’s house, so
we just went in to get it charged up, no house owners there,
no permission to enter, just went in. I remember seeing that
they had a ragdoll kitten there which was interesting.
That’s all I have in the memory banks! See what you can do

her children are in danger and you, as an evolved human
being and guardian of the Earth, heed their call.
I do feel the second part of your dream is connected to
this collective vision of humanity.  The smoke coming out
of his mouth is symbolic of Man’s desecration of his own
body and destruction of the Earth.  Here I feel you
struggle to take action, you hide in consumerism as do a
great deal of the western world.  Where in your world
are you forgetting about the sanctity of your own body
or the Earth?  How can you make a difference to your
own little space on this planet?
The final part of your dream feels slightly eerie; there is a
sense that no one is about and a fear they may come
back and catch you. Where have they gone?  How did
being alone in someone else’s property make you feel? 
How can people really own the earth and restrict
resources to others?
You are searching for some sort of free energy, certainly
finding some would be a solution to one of the world’s
biggest problems and indeed sharing our resources
would ease the burden on the earth. In a sense, the idea
of there being no owners and no permission needed is
quite utopian, a place where all is one, and one has the
freedom to be.  These ideas arising within your dreams
are that of the collective unconscious, now ready to be

In this first article on the topic of Holistic Healing, I wanted to give a brief
understanding of the link between the physical body and its energetic field, as
this is the foundation from which we approach energy healing.

The Human Energy Field

Although the human body looks solid – it is in fact made
up of moving energy particles. All energy particles
vibrate at different frequencies – some particles vibrate
more slowly than others - making them appear denser to
the naked eye. Surrounding the physical body, is an
energy field which feeds energy into the physical body –
our bio-magnetic energy field – commonly known as the
‘Aura’.
This appears less dense, as the energy particles in it
vibrate at a higher speed than those in the physical body.
With practice, it is possible to see the human aura - it
appears as a hazy field surrounding the body. Some
people experience it simply as a mist, while others are
able to discern colours and qualities in the aura, which
can indicate to the knowledgeable eye the state of the
energy field, and also potentially the person’s emotional
and physical state, as disruptions to both appear firstly in
the energy field.
Energy is fed through the aura, into the physical body, so
the state of our energy field around the body has a
knock on effect on the state of our physical and
emotional health.
You may have seen cameras which take colour photos of
the Auric field, showing a beautiful rainbow of colours
surrounding the body, which are then interpreted by the
camera operator. These photos are a snapshot of the
person’s energy field at that moment in time. It is
fascinating to play with this technology and see how
allowing yourself to feel different emotions, has an effect
on the colours showing in the energy field. It is a
wonderful indicator of how our emotional state affects
our energy field.
The emotions we feel are our body’s reaction to stimuli
– either something external – for example someone
criticising you may evoke the feeling of anger, or
emotions can be created by our internal thought
processes – e.g. if we continually think that we are not
good enough, it will create a feeling of low self esteem.
If we take it a step further and consider that emotions
(however they are created) are shown by the aura
photography to affect our energy field, then it makes
sense for us to pay much closer attention to what
emotions we are feeling, why we are feeling them, and
how and why we react to external stimulus. Once we
start to become more aware of what we are feeling at
any given time, sensitivity will start to increase, and in
turn this leads to greater awareness of what has a
positive or negative effect on your energy.
Once our awareness and sensitivity has developed a
little, then we are able to step back and make a choice as
to how we allow things to affect us mentally and
emotionally, bearing in mind the effect this can have on
our energy field, and we can make a choice which
supports keeping our body and energy in a state of
balance and harmony. So there are always two choices -

rather than get upset by someone else’s road rage, we

can choose not to be infected with their angry energy,
and to let the situation wash over us – OR – we can be
sucked into the negative energy of the situation, and end
up as angry as they are. As we become more and more
aware, we are more able to make this conscious choice.

The Magical Tarot

Even after reading professionally for over ten years, I’m still a
little surprised when clients say to me ‘Oh, I don’t like Tarot -
it’s not really psychic, is it...’ Many people still come from a
paradigm that using cards makes a reader, and the reading,
less ‘psychic’ and so therefore, less valid. For me, this couldn’t
be further from the truth. The tarot for me opens up pathways
to our inner world. In fact, I find it so intriguing that I’ve
embarked on a project of writing about each card in the tarot
from that magical, internal perspective. (I hope it will become
a book one day soon!)
And what better place to begin than with The Fool.
Traditionally in the tarot, the Fool epitomizes the moment
when we take a risk, and step into the unknown - we begin a
process in life, wholeheartedly, and without knowing where it
will lead us. In the magical tarot, the Fool represents a
paradigm shift - in order to connect with the real magic of the
universe, you first need to actually be prepared to see things
differently, to question your assumptions about life in the
mechanical world, to listen to that quiet inner voice which
whispers constantly that there is more to life than can be
measured by Newtonian science. This is when you don the
fool's cape and take your first steps into a different way of
seeing the universe. You become an adventurer in a magical
landscape. But you must be prepared to question yourself,
your assumptions, and especially your beliefs about the world
as you know it. This applies particularly to your beliefs about
relationships! You never know what you might discover about
yourself and your lover if you are prepared to really be the
fool, and jump wholeheartedly into a different way of relating!

revealed. Shamanism
Shaman (pronounced Shah-man) is a word from the
language of the Tungus people of Siberia. It was first
recorded by an exiled Russian churchman in 1672 and
since then it has been widely adopted by western
anthropologists referring to persons in a great variety of
non-western cultures who were previously referred to as
“witch doctors”, “medicine man”, “wizard”, “visionary”,
and “seer”.
The history of Shamanism is the history of man’s earliest
spiritual discipline, beliefs and practices. It is written on
the walls of prehistoric caves all over the world including
Central Asia, France, Africa and Australia. In South Africa,
Stone Age paintings and engravings pay homage to the
Shaman carrying out practices over thousands of years of
communing with the Gods, Goddesses, Animals and
Elements.
Shamans have always referred to the web of life (or now
known in Quantum Physics as the Matrix). The belief is
that there is a bond between all forms of life and this has
been recorded for many centuries by the use of
pictographs on cave walls. There have been many
references to the spiritual belief system of Shamanism
recorded in many ancient cultures, i.e. the Egyptians,
Greeks and also spiritually in Buddhism, Sufi, Hinduism.
The Shaman, while in an altered state of consciousness,
enters a spiritual world to perform healing rituals, soul
retrieval, extractions, de-possessions, power
restorations, knowledge and communication with spirit.
Fuelled by compassion and with a clear desire to help
those in need, he/she focuses with divine intention.
Communicates with plants, animals and all of nature
using song, rattling, drumming and rituals, the Shaman
creates a sacred space, to perform the ceremony, or

journey into non-ordinary reality. Every Shaman has a
guardian spirit whom he or she will regularly travel or
communicate with on a journey and in addition to the
guardian spirit, he or she will have a number of spirit
helpers from any of the kingdoms - the Rock, Plant, and
Animal kingdoms.
Behind the basic principles of Shamanism lies a rich
Animism which grows out of the Shaman’s experience of
working and communicating with “spirits” of whose
existence he has practical experience. Animism is a view
of the world which attributes living souls and spirit to all
things, even what the contemporary world sees as
inanimate objects. Once Animism was considered a
quaint, primitive notion but since the advent of Quantum
Physics, it is taken far more seriously.
From a shamanic perspective, spirits are just as real as
the rocks and trees in our garden. Traditionally the
Shaman, having been through a process of development
and training by which the consciousness matrix has
become fully activated, is able to undertake quests of the
soul into sacred places, both on the earth and in spiritual
realms, in order to bring back healing wisdom and
guidance in matters of cosmic importance.
The traditional shaman is the intermediary between the
numerous realms of spirits and gods and the everyday
domestic world.
Although I have been trained and ordained as an Inuit
Shaman and having worked for many years with core
Shamanism from many cultures, my passion and heart is
now focused on the Celts and their Shamanic beliefs and
teachings. (Something to do with being Scottish I think!)

Shamanism and its links to Paganism.

There once was a carpenter, who wanted to make an
attractive piece of furniture from the best piece of oak
wood he could find. He desired to make a perfect piece
of furniture. This was his goal. So he went to the
hardware shop looking for his piece of oak wood. After
looking for some time at various shops, he realized that
he wasn’t going to find the piece of oak he was looking
for. In fact, all he could find was a piece of dry and
somehow cracked pine. It may not be the wood he
wanted, but it is all he could get from the hardware shop.
So he looks at it and asks, ‘What kind of wood is
this?’ If he wants to make something out of hard oak and
has a piece of cracked soft pine, he has to change his
attitude towards the situation because if he tries to make
the furniture out of the wrong material , it’s not going to
work.
So he says, ‘Ah, I actually have a piece of pine, its
badly cured; it’s twisted, split, cracked. Now how am I
going to work with that? I can still do something with it,
but I may not be able to do exactly what I wanted.
Nonetheless, I can still work with the cracked pine wood
and still build a nice piece of furniture.’
Perhaps we too at some level feel dried up and
cracked, perhaps we wish to be more compassionate or
feel more centered or balanced, but we feel we are not.
Perhaps we are struggling with anger, guilt, stress, anxiety
or a broken heart.
Perhaps we are simply human…..
Demanding and alluding ourselves to be perfect
pieces of oak does not make us so and usually creates a
feeling of being false…. and so our discomfort deepens.

On the other hand, if we choose to be more like the
carpenter then we can aim to accept ourselves and our
state of life just as it is and simply begin to work with it,
patiently and more compassionately.
The art of meditation is the art of being our own
carpenter, the creator of our own life. Meditation is the
art of working and understanding our own minds and
ultimately our own lives. It is an art of learning how to
compassionately befriend our minds, ourselves and all
that is present within our lives, including unpleasant and
often rejected situations, thoughts and feelings residing
within us.
Meditation teaches us how to tolerate and accept
ourselves as we are in this very present moment. From
this state of acceptance we can begin to work with our
minds and our own lives. As we begin to work with our
own minds we can begin to experience life in the present
moment away from the negative habitual responses and
come to experience life more freely, spontaneously and
joyfully. Ultimately Zen enables us to us realise our True
mind.

Our monthly delve into the OP archive.
This month, we re-visit some amazing
channeling from Lead Psychic & Founder,
Gaye Wright.
I asked my Chums, my three Chinese wise men
whom I channel, about channeling. And they said that
channeling is doing what comes naturally to all of us. That
is, we communicate, we have conversations with, we
make contact with, each other. And simply put, that’s
channeling. However channeling in the psychic sense is
different, in that we are channeling at different levels of
consciousness.
We’re not just having a conversation with somebody
standing next to us, in the same form as we are. When
we talk about channeling in psychic work, we’re referring
to channeling friends that we make contact with at other
levels of the universe. Friends who are not necessarily in
the same form that we are. Sometimes I do channel
beings, people whom I consider to be my friends who
are living at distant places from me in this world. I
channel two Chinese sages who I see to be living in areas
outside of Beijing somewhere. I’m not necessarily sure
exactly where they are, but I do know that they live in a
cave. And I channel these two men. They’re old, they’re
wiry, they’re lean, and they’ve been practising in their
consciousness for many many years. And I channel my
sages, and I know they’re living in the same sense as we
call living in this human body.
But I also channel my Chums, my three Chinese wise
men, whom I know do not have the same body as I do. I
see them as three Chinese wise men because that helps
me to visualize my channeling in the way that I can make

it recognizable not just for myself but for other people
as well.
So the first thing that the Chums wanted to explain
about channeling was that channeling is not some weird,
scary, spooky, psychic phenomenon, creating fear and
anxiety in people because they’re not sure what’s going
to happen – they can be taken over, there’s no control.
Certainly people do have some fearful experiences, some
anxious moments in Channeling, because they’re not
clear enough about what they’re doing, they’re not clear
enough in their intention, and they make themselves too
vulnerable and open to other levels of contact that are
not in harmony with what they want, with what other
people want, or what the universe wants.
So it’s very clear to start off with the understanding
about channeling in harmony, that when I talk about
channeling, when my Chums are explaining about
channeling, they’re talking about channeling in harmony.
We’re not talking about something or someone taking
you over, and you becoming the channel of whatever
comes through, losing your consciousness, losing
control, having no say and having no power – that is not
what channeling is. That’s nothing to do with channeling
in harmony. So when I talk about channeling, when my
Chums talk about channeling, we’re referring to
channeling IN HARMONY.

So having established that channeling is about
channeling in harmony, then what the Chums would like
to explain is the fundamental process of channeling.
Having the fundamental understanding about
channeling in harmony in place, then the next step is to
be aware and conscious about what and whom you’re
channeling. Channeling is about creating pathways into
the shared consciousness. When you open a channel of
communication with another being, another level of
consciousness, then it’s really important to be aware that
this is what you’re doing, to have in place an
understanding and in intention to make your channeling
a channeling in harmony, and to bring forth, to
communicate real
knowledge that is
going to be of benefit
and use to not only
yourself but others
and the whole
universe.
So having a
consciousness about
channeling in
harmony is important
because it means that
you understand that
channeling is a
process in harmony to bring forth and radiate more real
knowledge in the universe through your channeling - to
share and communicate real knowledge, to bring forth
content that will improve and better mankind. That your
channeling is a pathway to more harmony in the
universe. And also too it’s about understanding whom
and what you’re channeling. So I have my specific
channels of communication with my three Chums, my
two sages, and I have others too. I also know too that I’m
open to other channels of communication if that’s what’s
in harmony for me to do. Having said that, I’m also very
aware that if I’m open and make myself vulnerable
without any control, without having my own power in

place, then I can be inviting experiences that are not in
harmony. And this is where channeling gets a bad name
sometimes, along with a lot of other psychic work, when
you make yourself open and vulnerable without actually
being aware and conscious of the whole process.
The second thing to remember is to have an
intention to harmony, that it goes with your
understanding of channeling being a process of harmony,
and in harmony. And that whenever you open yourself to
channel, you’re opening yourself to the harmony of the
universe, whatever comes through will be in harmony
with you, with others, the whole universe. That’s really
fundamental.
The third thing to
remember is that the
manifestation or the
product of your
channeling is about
harmony, is about the
content, the knowledge,
whatever’s been
communicated in the
channel being of use and
benefit to the furthering
of harmony in the
universe.
So the manifestation of channeling is not just about
the glorification of one’s ego. It’s about helping and
supporting the universe to a greater level of harmony,
which also falls into place with your intention. In fact,
what the Chums are saying is that the three things go
naturally together. An awareness of what Channeling is as
a process, an intention to harmony, and a manifestation
of your channeling as a product of harmony, as an
expression of harmony. And when you keep these three
things in mind, then this is a fundamentally sound basis
for channeling.

Aries: August is a hot month for Aries. The people in your life are demanding more space
and freedom or you may notice this in yourself as game playing and power struggles ensue.
Your drive to move forward and make your desires known is halted, as this is a time for inner
adjustment not progress. Certainly, events regarding important people in your life will have a
knock on effect in your career, eventually resetting life goals. Think of yourself as metal in the
blacksmiths fire, being melded and reshaped, through incredible intensity a new more
practical tool for living is created.

Taurus: August finds you searching like the roots of a tree for water, an occasional rock
gets in the way and so it diverts. Our attitudes towards those we love, service to them and
our aspirations may require adjustment for us to find the sustenance within our life and to
appreciate it more. With Venus in Libra from the 7th the spirit of compromise and balance
survives in a tense desert where personal freedom and unexpected changes push us to
think about more serious demonstrations of love. From the 20th, daily routine and work take
on a harmonious quality as relationships with colleagues improve.

Gemini: August is a busy time for you with emails, letters and short trips away, some of the
frantic energy will involve family and home. Make the most of supercharged days such as the
6th because from the 20th life slows down, hold ups occur, energy moves inwards, so initiate
projects sooner rather than later. Carefully re-evaluate your dealings with other people
regarding money. The current powerful alignments in the sky channel the energy of change
into your areas of joint finance, creativity and your dreams but only if you can free yourself
from restrictive thought patterns, let go and move forward.

Cancer: For you Cancer, its all bound up with your self worth, the money you spend, the
money you earn. This month sees a focus on possessions but they really are just a
metaphor for your inner security. So if you see yourself desperate for something outside
yourself, think again. Your feelings of insecurity are inevitable in a world of ever changing
circumstances, support can be found with family and friends. Certainly the events of the
last few months announce a change within yourself regarding your relationships, this month
may push you to the limit but keep believing in yourself and you won’t go wrong.

Leo: It’s like a light has switched on inside you, all of a sudden your view is expanded.
Expect this opening of perspective to have repercussions in how you approach life this
month, your creative output and relations with others. With light comes heat and
momentum as Mars kick starts the planetary alignments, slow to start but by the 10th,
fireworks as 8 planets link and a New Moon in your sign. From the 23rd, your senses may
become a little cloudy; this is a reaction to Neptune being on the scene so go canny, as all
that glitters is not necessarily gold.

Virgo: August spells endings for Virgo, delving into the subconscious, analysing and
discriminating. What aspects of the self are functional and what is not? A useful process
before your birthday, which ties in with the T-square theme for you, transformation of
resources through personal efforts, creative ability and working with others. With Mercury
retrograde from the 20th and the Sun in Virgo from the 23rd, this month is for planning rather

than doing. Your time will come, as growth continues internally, facing up to the more challenging aspects of
life will hasten this process.

Libra: August ripening finally brings the burst of energy to harvest your good works.
Your ruler moves into Libra from the 6th, with other grounding influences you will be
working on the structures of your relationships, building peace and compromise. The
struggles of past months have not entirely faded as transformation continues in the home,
while groups of friends or community play a big role in the drama. Some unexpected cash
may ease the way, paying of your debts and investing seems the Saturnian thing to do and
while the Lord of Karma sits in your sign its best to obey.

Scorpio: Power and intensity are usually associated with Scorpio; your mission this
month is to use these abilities wisely. Your choice - the scorpion or the eagle, sting your
victims or soar above your dilemmas! You may have been doing a lot of brooding lately
as old psychological patterns and communications are flattened to make way for
something more functional. A Waxing Moon in your sign on the 16th symbolises a mini
crisis of faith but your inner struggle will pay dividends especially if life goals and work
commitments are scrutinised.

Sagittarius: Your ruling sign, Jupiter does seem to have a number of challenging
transits early month, there is potential for circumstances outside yourself to push you into
action so try to keep cool. With Jupiter retrograde until November 18, the onus is one of
self-reflection so these transits may give you some food for thought such as new about
your own behaviours. Be aware when you may be dominating others or obsessive
behaviours take control. In August try to enjoy friends and colleagues, it may feel like a
chore at first but from it comes, positive benefits to finances and self-esteem.

Capricorn: Your stoic nature still faces challenges as Uranus and Pluto maintain there
angular positions this month. Freedom and transformation issues persist with your ruler;
Saturn’s need to control the situation, the urge for more choice and less restriction
disrupts your usually centred self. Working relationships take on a serious and committed
tone from the 8th, showing you in a favourable light with the bosses. The sensible head
continues as you are forced to deal with the nitty gritty subjects of life - sex and money,
favourable outcomes may take a while but are assured.

Aquarius: Saturn gets a bad rap but it feels like this heavy weight planet is holding
something down right now, like a sandbag on a hot air balloon, used to steady and
maintain height, be content with hovering right now, the time to ascend will come. This
month sees you working on relationships, looking for the new and unusual. On the 7th and
8th expect some financial, love or travel issues to surface, resolution comes through
laterally engaging the thinking mind, trusting the bigger picture and tuning into the
unconscious for guidance.

Pisces: Within the stars this month, there is potential for fulfilment; this comes through
working on health, service and finding more functional ways of structuring your daily regime.
Sometimes it is difficult for Pisces to think in such earthy ways but grounding yourself in life
will help with material challenges. Careful judgement and a philosophical bent, will help
when you are faced with opposition regarding money or the physical wants of others. The
Full Moon in your sign on the 24th links beneficially to Pluto, this provides receptive fertile
ground for healing in the area of dreams, friends and relationships.
