 Created weekly reports on the state of the company’s overall marketing efforts, pulling together
information about user acquisition, paid acquisition, press, marketplace data, and social media.
 Submitted Lookout to multiple new app stores while maintaining its presence on over ten others.
 Assisted in optimizing our paid advertising campaigns and user acquisition funnel.
 Assisted in writing and editing messaging, blog posts, press releases, and awards submissions.
 Conducted market research from macroeconomic yearly forecasts to one-on-one usability studies.

True Ventures ‘True Entrepreneurs Corp’ (TEC)


Venture Capital Internship Program, San Francisco, CA. June 2010 – July 2010
 Participated in True Ventures’ rigorous TEC program, which included a full-time internship with one
of True’s portfolio companies (See SendMe Mobile below), one book per week to read and analyze,
a two-month group research project on the startup ecosystem, and a presentation to the board.
 Attended weekly meetings with CEOs and speakers from Silicon Valley, where entrepreneurship was
discussed and experiences shared with fellow interns.

SendMe Mobile
Mobile Media Company, San Francisco, CA. June 2010 – July 2010
 Expanded the company’s marketing campaigns with over 100 new SMS ads and 20 new voice ads.
 Built an ad template and best practices database to streamline future ad creation.
 Created and proposed a social media marketing campaign involving SendMe Mobile and its partner,
Humor Hotlines. The campaign was included in a proposal brought to Humor Hotlines’ board.

Joint US-China Collaboration on Clean Energy (JUCCCE)


Green Energy Non-Government Organization, Shanghai, China. May 2009 – July 2009
 Created a PowerPoint for Chinese celebrity Du Juan and a JUCCCE postcard for a Green Lighting
event hosted by JUCCCE, Du Juan, and L'Oreal's Yue Sai Cosmetics.
 Brainstormed, drafted, and finalized a template for a monthly newsletter to be received by JUCCCE's
entire mailing list. This newsletter is still sent monthly in the original template.
 Designed an agenda & four-page invitation brochure for JUCCCE's Yangzhou Smart Grid Forum.
