Aloha Kākou,
With the 26th Hawaii Legislative Session
starting tomorrow, there is much to do in
order to ensure that the work done this
Session will make a beneficial impact on
our community.
I invite you all to attend this Session’s open-
ing day at the State Capitol on January 19th.
However, if you are unable to attend, the
House ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m. on
channel 49, and the Senate ceremony will
be shown at 9:57 a.m. on channel 53.
It has been a great honor to serve your
community for the past two years, and I am
excited for what this coming Session has to
offer. I look forward to working with you in
improving our home. Hau'oli Makahiki
