SAYLLABUS FOR Ph.D.

Eligibility Entrance Test

Subject – History

The Ph.D Entrance Test (EET) Shall be of three hours duration carrying 100 marks and
shall consist of the questions categorized into the sections i.e. A & B. Section. A shall comprise
30 Objective questions of MCQ (Multiple Choice questions) type, each carrying 2 marks. Section
B shall comprise 12 short answer type questions of 5 marks each out of which 8 questions shall
have to be answered.
